Does anyone know a good online source for pre quilted Christmas fabrics? Our few local fabric stores don't seem to carry much of it anymore.
I used it to make Chirstmas stockings for new family members and I have a new grandbaby due in late November. I add a piece of aida to the top and cross stitch the name on.
Thanks!

If you can't find the pre-quilted - El in her Christmas at Bear's Paw book has a quilt as you go strip pieced stocking that is simple. It is very similar to one I designed for my kids too many years ago to think about!!. I also cross stitched their names on Aida cloth then attached it. It might be an answer for you - also you can pm me and I will share mine with you

Go to the top of this screen and click on FREE DOWNLOADS. There's a free stocking pattern there. I would suggest enlarging it. Jana's right, these stockings are really easy to make. And it's quilt as you go.

Re: Pre Quilted Christmas Fabric
Thanks for the information. I have the pattern already and I'd like to keep using it so that everyone's family has matching stockings to hang as they add kids to the family. I guess if I can't find any prequilted fabric I'll just have to buy some Christmas cotton and quilt a piece of it and then cut out the stocking. There used to be so many nice pieces of pre-quilted Christmas fabric I wish I would have grabbed more of it when I had the chance.

Have you tried Hancock Fabrics on line and also Jo Ann's. I found some fabric at Hancock that I had looked all over for.

I checked at Hancocks and Joann Fabrics last year and they were not carrying it. I haven't gotten down there this year yet. The last time I was able to locate some was at a Ben Franklin. I'll keep looking--thanks!
