I think it might be fun. I'm leaning toward something that wouldn't be very expensive. Something homemade is fun, but I don't know if it should be required. I have always enjoyed seeing what little things I get in my stocking. :o)

I like the stocking swap idea. Sounds do-able in a time crunched part of the year! :o)

All of these ideas sound so good. I just thought it would be something fun to work on during the next few weeks/months. Sorry about bringing up the C-------s word. I enjoy summer too but with family and kids, I also like to plan ahead a little to keep from getting swamped by that day.

Yesterday while shopping for the noodle swap, DD suggested a swap of black and bright colored noodles. I know this isn't a Christmas idea but it is another swap. I am going to need to pay attention to how these swaps are run. With all of my ideas, I may have to host one ONE OF THESE DAYS!

Not to keep bothering everyone with the countdown (I can hear all of you saying, THEN DON'T) there are 124 days left.

I love the Secret Santa Swap and doing a stocking would be lots of fun.

How about a Secret Santa Stocking Swap? We could use El's stocking pattern and make one up for our secret santa and fill it with goodies.

Has anyone heard from Maryq about Secret Santa this year?

Gals

In 2007 & 2008 I hosted the Secret Santa swap and I'd love to do it again for 2009!

I do love Ann's suggestion of the Stocking swap and think perhaps we could combine a "stocking swap" with Secret Santa. It would called

"Secret Santa Stocking Swap" How's that!!

I think Deb (dsf) was going to incorporate monthly secret pals in with Christmas so perhaps we'll together and figure out one plan so it's not quite so confusing.

Will keep everybody updated once the details are available.
