Quilting Frame

Post by RuthE. » Tue Jul 14, 2009 1:49 pm

I have a beautiful cherry wood Norwood 26" round frame that I've used since 1988. It pivots and does lay flat against the wall. It was the top of the line at that time, but I don't see them at shows anymore. My hands say I must give up hand quilting, so I was wondering if anyone out there would be interested in buying it.

Could you possibly run a pic of it and what price would you ask?

Judy, sorry I''''ve been so long in answering. Lots of company for a wedding. I do have pictures but don''''t know how to put them on this website. I don''''t think one is suppose to put their e-mail address on here. It''''s one Katie Pasquini Maspost was demostrating years ago in Paducah. I''''m asking $150. If there was a way I could get your address I could send you pictures. To discribe it, it sits on a main post made from piece of wood, with four pieces of wood on the floor, sort of like a secretaries chair. Then the round frame part pivots on a metal ball, which you tighten or loosen with a knob. You can lock it in place or loosen it when you tilt it into your lap. Or you can loosen it all the way and the round part folds down against the center post. It was made by Norwood, one of the best at that time. It''''s for handquilting, beautiful cherry wood. I''''m sure this is as clear as mud. Thanks.

RuthE, it sounds like something I could use and would love to get it but I don't have the extra money to be spending.

Do you still have the Norwood quilt hoop for sale or is it gone?
