how much fabric for backing??

is there a chart somewhere on this site that tells how much fabric to buy for full, twin ,queen, and king size quilts i never seem to remember thanks glenda

I haven't seen a chart. I carry around my quilter's calculator. Before I purchased it though I had it in my cell phone.

I always buy 1/2 yard more than it calls for, then I know I will have more than enough. I love to make a scrappy quilt using all the fabrics from the projects I had made the past year.
