I have 3 different red/white/blue quilt tops started and would like to get them finished this month. Maybe if I go by themes I can get something done! All 3 of these were from swaps.

I've been working on my scrap basket. Here it is before:

After:

And the results:

I have 1 1/2", 2", 2 1/2" strips; strings, 2 1/2" x 4 1/2" and 2" x 3 1/2" bricks; 2 1/2" and 2" squares.

So I could see progress, I sorted the fabric by color. I've got red, pink, purple, lavendar and blue still to deal with, but I think I'm done for a while. It is my intention to not add to the basket (deal with scraps when I'm finished w/a quilt top) and ultimately get it out of the sewing room.

Wow! You did make some progress! Just think the next time you need something in those sizes you will be ahead of the game,

Let's see here, on my list of stashbusters/UFO's I have:

Finish quilting and binding Eliza'a baby qulit
Billy's memory quilt, pillow, chef's apron
Charlie's quilt
cushins for sofa
Memory quilts for Butch, Alice, James, me, Nellie, Celia
(waiting for photos from Celia to do these)
Bags for till trays at work

Hmmmmmm, I think that's it. I hope so, as this is enough to keep me busy for years to come, lol.

OK mid-month!! How are we doing? I am a little behind, but I think I can catch up. Starting a class today, that probably won't help. LOL
