Okay, I agree with everybody! Now, maybe we should spend some time figuring out what the next project will be. If we knew that, maybe we could figure out how to do it! Any ideas? When do we need to start stuff for the troops holiday? Anybody pregnant? Getting married? Need an Eagle Scout project? Just needs a blankie?

LOL!!! Don't forget, I have the "angelsark" email - it's all set up now, and we can use it for quilts, too, if that would be helpful to keep track of things.... I don't mind sharing it, that's what it's for! :)

CindyB, I think sending the info by email would help immensely. Then the post here could be edited as need be. jmo

Linda, I have also volunteered to do up a bunch of labels, so between us, we should never be "labelless" again!!!!

I think that all the ideas here are great and I don't have anything to add except I like them and will attempt to play by the rules at any time. Oooooops, Linda said no rules, okay I will try my best to do whatever I am instructed to do!

On the drug theory, I have been on almost all those listed and not only couldn't I sew I couldn't talk or write or drive or cook or make the bed or do the dishes or do the laundry. Do you think I played it for all it was worth? 'Course I did have a broken neck, paralyzed left arm and two bum knees all at once, with three surgeries following way too close to each other! Anyone want to know about the physical therapy?

Thought not.

I like the spontaneity of the Projects from the Heart.

I like that anyone can initiate a project for something dear to their heart.

I like the individuality and the different ways that each one expresses him/herself in the choices they make and the labeling of quilts. It's so personalized.

Like Joannequilts, it concerns me that a more formal "organization" with committees, etc. would detract from the open, friendly spirit in which so many wonderful things have been done by participants on this forum for so many others: soldiers, "world's worst Mom", each other, babies, cancer victims, etc.

Just my two cents,

Carol

Could the email account be used for anything that is needed like a card and FQ sent out, or a block needed for a specific cause, etc? Whatever "good deed" is wanted? When anything starts up for the soldiers I am in on that. I agree that this is the most wonderful group of human beings I have encountered and am so glad that Linda directed me to it. I am proud to be a quilter. Hugs, Judy
