I saw this pattern last night

Post by Chrissy1 »

While visiting our local long arm quilter last evening she brought out two quilts her sister had made. She said they were baby size for two girls about two, but to me they were much more lap size. Guess I just don't quite know how to figure out the size names. Anyway there were made up of two basic pieces. One was a square approximately 6" the other square was made up of two fabrics. THere were 4 rectangles and 4 squares (if my mind remembers correctly) that made up the second square. All I can think of is it was a square to begin with and then cut into pieces and sewn into a square again(can you tell I have no clue what I am talking about)heheheh. Lorena is going to ask her sister the name of the pattern, but I was hoping someone might know what it is. The squares were all sewn together, then a narrow border strip then a wider border strip. Thanks

While looking through these sites on my lunch break I came across a wonderful pattern that doesn't look to complicated. Who would have known there are so many places out there with free patterns. I am going to use the one I found and cut out a new baby blankie for sweet tiny Destiny. Thanks again for sharing all the websites.
