Re: Binky Brigade
Has anyone already sent their Binkies on to the Binky Brigade and heard anything from them? I cannot thank you enough and I also told everyone at our Blue Star meeting on the 20th about everyone and the Binky Brigade. Love to all, Judy

Re: Binky Brigade
I have a few ready to send, but have GOT to get this other project DONE and OUT before I can focus on anything else. Just made up a few at night for a break from the other project.
These are fun, quick and a little theraputic to make, and uses up scraps very nicely.

Due to 'life got in the way', I have yet to post a picture of the 'Binky Brigade' one I made while doing a sit&sew at QIAD 2 weeks or so ago.
I hope we can keep this project going.
And I will post a picture soon of the ones I'm making.

Re: Binky Brigade
I made 8 and mailed them directly to Binky Brigade last week. I'll let you know when I hear from them. They were fun to make with some odd fat quarters and fleece left from projects I've done for the grandkids. Deb

Re: Binky Brigade
Once again, thank you everyone for getting so many of the "Binkies" out there. I am going to do some more tomorrow. Seems like all I do is say thank you to you all but I mean it.
Hugs, Judy

Re: Binky Brigade
QIAD-Linda just posted a really nice website in a different discussion, but there a two patterns (FREE) that would work for these Binkys. The patterns are free and a tutorial is with them. There are "Doll Quilts" and "Ragtime Placemats", both which could be made as these Binkys. Also a lot of other cute and bazar type items.

Re: Binky Brigade
Finished 10 "Binkies" yesterday. Just need to get to UPS to send them off. Sooooooo much fun to make. And uses up all those "too big to throw away" pieces from the stash.
I tried the "ragtime" method, that I had seen but had not tried before. Very nice as they are sewn, quilted and done all at the same time. Need to work on my bindings.........................
Thanks for sharing this website Judy!

Oasis you are amazing and must never come out of your sewing room. Your machine must be smokin'. lol I am so glad everyone has enjoyed this project and they are a quick project and very satisfying, right? By the "ragtime" method do you mean when seams are on top and clipped so they "rag" up? I love to do those. Hugs, Judy
