eliza1057, did anyone answer your questions? I'm not the smartest person when it comes to finding things (but I sure can lose them!) but I can see if I can find the rules for you.

Maybe this is something that should be stuck at the top. I sure miss are rolling info that was kept updated on here.

I looked and couldn't find the original rule set up.

So, basically, here's what I think we're following:

1. If you want to join, pm dsf618 with your name, forum name, mailing address, email address and phone number. Each month Deb will post when sign ups are starting and ending for that month.

2. Deb keeps the master list, so if your name is on that when she posts you don't have to re send info.

3. If you want to drop out for a month, pm Deb and she will take your name off the list for that month(s). When you want to come back on, pm Deb

4. Deb will "do her magic" and exchange the names. Then she will send each of us, via pm, our pal for the month. She usually does that end of the month, but she posts the exact date.

5. Then we start putting together our pals package. $10 is supposed to be the spending limit, you can add things from your stash of fabric or notions, if you wish. (to see some of the gifts, review the posts in the previous month's thread.) Handmade things, as we all know, are wonderful and much appreciated.

6. Mail the packag by the 15th of the month. If you're going to be later than that, and heavens knows things come up, pm Deb and let her know, or post you're running late.

7. When you put your package in the mail, post that it's been mailed.

8. When you receive your package, post that you received it. NOTE: this is so important, because the person who sent the package wants to make sure it got there and isn't flying around cyberspace.

9. ESPECIALLY IMPORTANT: If for whatever reason, you are unable to keep the commitment for the month, pm Deb and let her know so she can get a sub pal so that your pal doesn't go without a gift for that month.

10. Make sure that you post in the Secret Pal hints thread. Be as specific as possible--this helps your pal select things for you.

11. MOST IMPORTANT: have fun, no stress.

12. A nice idea: include a note about yourself, this is the way we all get to learn more about each other. Pictures are nice, too.

Thanks for posting the rules! LOL!!! I forget them sometimes, and it's great to see them again... must be old age!

I'm really looking forward to this month - because I have some new ideas, and boy, does it do me good to meet other quilting sisters! It gets me ready to go again!

I picked up a few new patterns that are great for SP! But I'm not saying if you'll get the pattern or something made with the pattern!!!

I have my SP name and I am in planning mode. I have a BOM class on the 19th that is when I will shop for my SP. The package will go out on the 19th.

I've got my sp's name (thanks John!) and am ready to start getting things together.

Just a thought I had. I know my taste, fav. candies, etc. change from time to time. I wonder if everyone keeps their info. on this updated?
