I'm here, just been lurking. Trying to finish up a few projects before I cover the cutting table again with fabric for this one. My gd was over on Sunday and saw the book laying on the table and said "grama, this is a pretty quilt, are you going to make it?" I told her someday. This will be her quilt but I need to find the right "outdoorsey" fabric for it.

Great to hear from the J's. It's just so much fun to chat with this great group. I think early Sept was being tossed aroud to start sewing, but it hasn't been decided yet.

Soooo, is someone keeping a list of everyone who are 'talking' about sewing the Stars Across America? And, are they alphabetized so we know how many C's, S's, J's, etc?????? We may have more people to watch out for than we know about! lol

I'm trying to figure out what color wave to go with. I have been working on Red, White and blues, and I always do the Southwest or oranges and browns. I need to think outside the box this time. Been looking at some pretty blue Fushions at the store that I would really like to have.

I'm thinking I would like to join this sew along. I've about wore out my book just looking and have done some of the blocks. And the series in the QIAD theatre is a big help.
