Help with Kona Fabric Please
Okay I was out shopping yesterday and was looking for the Kona Muslin. I had a pc of Moda Muslin with me to compare it with. Trouble was that I did not find Kona Muslin. I found Kona Natural which looked like the same texture as the Muslin but did not have the little brown specks. Is this what people are referring to as Kona Muslin? Or is the Kona Natural a seperate fabric from their Muslin? Geez I am confused. LOL More so than ever. LOL Thanks for advance for someone clearing up my confusion on this please.

I'm not sure Kona makes a muslin. I'll have to ask at the store I work at. I think the muslin I bought is by Springs.

Kona put out a muslin. You will find it at the fabric store where all the other muslins are. I just bought some at Joann`s last week...If you go to the on-line sight~ Joann~ type in muslin, you can see it. It comes in many sizes, bleached and unbleached...They put out coupons all the time for 40% off. And they also put muslin on sale...GL

I bought Kona muslin at Joann's not too long ago. I think it was $3.99 a yard.

At the Robert Kaufman site it's listed as 'Natural from Kona Premium Muslin 44".'
On page 2, there's discussion about Kona muslin that might be helpful.

Re: Help with Kona Fabric Please
Thank You so much for the information. I tell ya, IF I find this Muslin, I think I will buy quite a bit of it. I have some plain cheap type Muslin and I would only use it to back real old thin blocks so they would be thicker. It is super thin!!!!! Not something to use in a block alone for sure. The Moda 200 thread count Muslin doesn't even look like Muslin and feels like reg cotton fabric. It is fabulous. I order it from Hancocks of Paducah. It comes in 45 wide and a wide width too. Thanks again ladies.

Well Gollllyyyyy! I am so happy I am bouncing off the walls. LOL I found the Kona Muslin at JoAnns here and I bought a bolt of 118 in. a bolt of 108 inch and a couple yrds of the 45 inch. WOW It is really very nice Muslin! I am impressed. It will be great for backings. DH cracked up laughing and asked if I was afraid they would stop carrying it or what? I told him I was taking no chances! LOL Thank You all for talking about how nice this fabric is.

Re: Help with Kona Fabric Please
Well Cathy...I went to Joann's this morning and thought it was awful nice of you to leave a little bit of the Kona muslin:) I only got two yards of the 45" and should have gotten more since it was on sale.
