The quilt was picked up from QIAD last Wednesday or Thursday.

Linda said the quilt was picked up, she did not say by whom. It was picked up a week ago by the quilter when Susanna had not picked it up. Susanna then contacted the quilter and was able to pick it up yesterday. It still needs binding. If Susanna is unable to bind the quilt I will pick it up from her and bind it.

Thank You Carol. Finally a sensible answer. Now, the big question after all of this time, is does anyone know when the recipient might get this quilt? It has gone on for way too many months! TIA

That is ALL everybody involved here wants!

I live close to qiad. If the quilt could get there I will be happy to bind it also & send it on its way!

Please stop this bickering. Susanna has it now, it will get a binding and be sent on, if not by her, by one of the locals. I understand Susanna was in the hospital and we all know that she has been ill of late, so cut her some slack. Yes, perhaps she should have dumped everything back on Carol when she got overwhelmed with the loss of dog and her assorted illnesses rather than trying to get it quilted by Judy and all the subsequent mess-ups, but all's well that ends well. I'm sure the recipient will love it, even though it was delayed.

Sally it is not bickering....it is about being honest about your limitations and not continuing to avoid answering the questions that were asked here, Those that made blocks and sent money DO need an answer to their questions. They feel cheated and it has been a long time. If you cannot do a project or if your ill you need to contact someone asap, If you take on a project and you become ill or have a death there are a Bazzillion people who will step up and help you. It IS about coming forward. This will probably get flagged but I am tired of the "they said....She said....they did....she did...." Just get this DONE. I have a very soft spot in my heart for the recipient of this quilt and for it to have stalled here and seemingly for the maker to have been not totally honest is enough to get my dander up. What a tangled web we weave....Put a fork in me I am done.

Perhaps a lesson will be learned.... Perhaps not.

Well said, Grammie. No one is "bickering" or picking on anyone...these are legitament questions that need DIRECT answers.
