Hello Everyone!

I decided I wanted to be #200! Plus, I have a confession to make...

I just realized that I somehow managed to list Mommyquilts as both numbers 4 and 12 on our list of participants, but in looking back at the discussion entries, she didn't volunteer to make 2 sets of blocks. I'm really sorry for my error, ladies! And nobody caught it, either! Not even Mommyquilts. Sigh.

Anyway, this means we will now have 18 different blocks, unless we have more quilters join us in the near future. My thoughts are that you should still go ahead and plan to make 20, since most of you already have your materials at this point. If we end up with only 18, you will have 2 extra ones of your own that you can use for tote bags, centers of place mats, apron bibs, or whatever you dream up. I think they'd make awfully cute throw pillows to go with your quilt!

So let's continue to aim for 20 blocks, and we'll keep hoping for someone else to get a sweet tooth in time to join us.

Betsy.....how funny you wanted to be number 200!! I will plug along and do 20 mine will be a variety of ice cream cones and pies so extras of mine will be fine

Apolta - We are so very glad you will be joining us. I've sent a pm with more details about mailing and my contact info.

I love all 3 of your designs!!! I'd say pick the one you like best and do that one. They all look so delicious I simply can't decide. If you prefer to do a mixture of the 3 different ones for a total of 20 blocks, that's great, too.


GOOD NEWS, EVERYONE...With the addition of Apolta we are at a definite 19 blocks. However, I also received a very nice offer from one of our kind ladies to possibly do a second set of blocks. If that happens, we would officially have a full set of 20. It's amazing how just when I was about to give up hope, people just jump in and save the day! Yay for quilters, everywhere!

Please note that I've updated our list of participants to show mommyquilts only once. I've just added apolta in her place at #12, and #20 will most likely be filled by one of our ladies who has offered to maybe make a special embroidered design block. I will add her name when the decision is official.

Auntjana has already let me know that it's official! She will make a second set of blocks so we will have a complete quilt top of 20 different blocks. Thank you so much, Auntjana!
