Quilter's choice marking pencils
How can you get the marks out of the fabric. I used the famous Quilter's Choice silver and white pencils. I tried spray misting and a wash cloth, then and eraser, since the Fons & Porter pencil erased, and lastly, I tried a paper towel and the iron. I am working on a small black and white quilt, so I needed both colors. Does anyone have an idea?

Here is an old recipe that will remove pencil marks. I don't know what the silver and white pencil is composed of but it may work.
1 part rubbing alcohol
3 parts water
3 drops dish washing liquid

Sewbug, I will have to try this on my Christmas wreath with the pencil marks on it...nothing else has gotten them out so far...<sob, sob!>
Few things worse than blasted marks that won't come out...just spoils the whole project...

I simply wash the finished quilt in my machine and they came out. Never had a problem of them not disappearing.
