Hello,
I hope someone can tell me what I've done wrong. I just completed a "Lodgepine Pole" wallhanging from Quilts Thru the Seasons book. I can't get the center to hang flat. I did minimal hand quilting around the center trees and birds and did heavy hand quilting on the 4 corners and borders. I've tried blocking it, washing it, steaming it but the center just puffs out and the border lays flat. Uaagghh!!! Should I add more quilting to the center? Help please. Thank You All.
HELP, PLEASE

Re: HELP, PLEASE
I would think that adding more quilting to the center, where it puffs out, will help. Good luck!

CLODL - heavy quilting around something makes it pop out so I would guess that your heavier quilting in the borders and corners is what is making your middle pooch out. I think you will need to quilt a little more in the center.
