What a great quilt. I know your son must love it. In the picture the fabrics look like velvet.

Thanks for your comments. The quilt is all 6" blocks royal color cotton. For the binding, I just sewed the 6" squares together, stitched them to the front and folded them around to the back for a wider binding on the back because the back is just unbleached muslin.
