Good morning all. I am going in a little early today too as I gotta take a couple of scouts shopping for their camping trip this weekend. Patrol Advisor neglected to plan for it so here we go. Was suppose to go to a class tonight but guess I am not going to do that.

May try to get a few stitches in after I come home and after I get the bills done.

Good morning everyone. I am at work as usual. I swear my life is so exciting I just might split my pants laughing LOL. Anyway I hope to get some sewing done tonight when I get home.

Next thursday is a day of test for me at the hospital to hopefully find out why I get vertigo. First is the CT scan than the dizziness tests. I am sure those will be so much fun.

Good Morning Quilters, am downing my first cup of coffee. Need to wake up. I am going to try and put one of those magnetic snaps on a tote I've been working on. Pattern does not call for one but thought it might be a nice touch. Am going to try and figure out a way to keep it from pulling through the lining????
I finally threw out all my Rowenta irons. Had three of them and they all leaked, spit gunk, or never steamed at all. My son gave me an iron that has a reservoir so now no leaking or spitting. I love it!! Stays hot and only steams when I press the button. No more burnt fingers! :o) Have a great day!!

Got up this a.m. and there's SNOW outside! My daffodils are not going to like this one bit!! I was supposed to be going to MOPS at church but the schools are running two hours behind so I think MOPS will be cancelled. I'm expecting a call to verify that any minute. Then I can spend the morning working on my long list of UFOs!!
Have a great day.

Good Morning!! Listen, some peace and quiet! DH, DS1, DS3 and DGD are all out for breakfast. No, I didn't go, those free breakfasts at the implement dealers aren't my thing. They can go and look at the tractors and everything else, and can visit with who knows who-and I have a few moments alone. So here I am, and then I am going to vacumn. Everyone benefits. LOL I don't remember when the last time I sewed was, or practiced the piano. Tomorrow I have an eye appointment and this weekend I have DGD both days-beginning at 6 am. DS3 found some weekend work-it won't pay much-but it's better then nothing. We are expecting some freezing rain today and tonight. It's gray and cold. However the forum is such a sunny place I can't stay away-Everyone have a good day-stay warm and safe!! Sandy, looking for her shoes cause her toes are cold.

If I have time tonight I'm going to work on my iron again and if it steams out any more gunk it's going in the trash and I'll be going to WalMart to get a cheap steam iron. I had a Maytag cordless iron that I dearly loved but it started leaking and was soon pouring water out so it went in the trash. I have decided to buy cheap ones from now on and if they screw up I'll just buy another one. But from now on I will use filtered water. Kenderosa, your iron sounds wonderful but I can't spend that kind of money on an iron until I get the HQ-16 paid off. Don would tell me to go ahead and get it but I wouldn't feel right doing it right now. I'm so good to him - ROFLOL!!!!

Well, I have a pedicure appt. during my lunch hour today. I wish I didn't because I'd rather stay at my office and do jigsaw puzzles on the puter and relax. Oh, well.

*Smile*

*Happy* BirthDay dear Pam.
I wish you a day filled with cotton and sunshine

Dolores, can you write an e-mail or note to that LQS that have these ridicolous hours for quilters who have to work during the day?

I made my very first tote. Jeff said it looked cute.
I started out with two orphane blocks and build it up from there.
Just for practise.

I bought a panasonic iron at WalliMart 2 years ago, and I Love it.
Always take it to QIAD camp with me, they all Love to use my iron there.

It is not very warm here, but we do have the usual sunshine.
This weekend should be nice and sunny and a bit warmer.
Low to mid 70's

Yesterday I decided to color my hair the way it naturally looks after a summer in the sun. YEACKS, It turned out the color of straw. WAY too light. EEEEECK.........
I am a natural strawberry blond. But I have no clue how to get my hair darker. I am afraid if I add color back to it that it'll turn orange on me. When you watch the BOM video please put blinders on.

I hope ALL of you have a nice day with a ray of sunshine in your heart.

Not much going on here, Gordy is out of town until tonite, so I just do what I want! Guess I better get the kitchen cleaned up though.

Our weather is turning into spring weather - very unpredictable. But progress yesterday, I went out to the mailbox in a short sleeved
t-shirt, so it has definitely warmed up a little. We haven't even had a frost for several days.

So here comes the storm, rain, snow, sleet today, with winds of 50mph forecast. The flappers on the pipes through the roof that I don't know what to call them have been flapping like crazy this morning.

Kitchen cleanup, laundry, and maybe something in the sewing room today. I had an email from a friend this morning, she is looking to sell her HQ-16, so I bit and asked how much, hope to hear from her later today.

T, I would appreciate temps in the 70's!

We had snow this morning but it is melting rapidly

The swelling in my jaw is just about gone, but before anyone starts in on me.....I will finish the meds

Had my last embroidery class last night. She had handouts on how to use the software and we went over a lot of different procedures. Since I had tried to figure it out myself I had a few questions. It was a good class but at the end she told us all the things our machines could not do compared to the the $5000 and up machines, well DUH. There is a big diffrence between $800 and $5000 and up. Oh Well I suppose they have to try.

I did find out I get a free CD with 3900 designs and fonts (worth $200) because I bought during a certain time period. Very Cool Now if I can just find that receipt.....

Other then that nothing exciting. I need to run a couple errands then back to my donation blankets for the day.

Have a great day
