Grandma2Davey your butterflies are beautiful! Your antennae look fine to me! How did you make them??? Do you remember the measurement of the butterflies? I'd hate to get them all cut out, then find out they are the wrong size...

BamaGirl & Joanne, thanks for your nice comments!

The antennae are just the pre-set satin stitch on my machine. They seem a little thick to me.

Joanne, I will pm you the measurements of my pieces. The measurements are for the inner, darker line.

Sorry I have been M.I.A for a bit... we have had a crazy change in our rollercoaster we call our life... my Husband has decided to go back into the military and applied for his old job back at the C-130 schoolhouse in Little Rock... soooooo in about 10 weeks we will be packing up on heading back there... This has all happened all of a sudden so we have been scrambling to figure out the logistics! LOL! And the poor little guys are trying to figure out why Mommy and Daddy are running around like crazy chickens with their heads cut off!

Anywho I will continue to post blocks but there me a brief break while we are trying to settle in back there!

Joanne... the antennas are applique pieces but you can be creative... I may use embroidery floss for mine... I will try and measure the butterflies this afternoon after schoolwork...

Carol... your butterflies are beautiful!

Hugs!

Joanne... we are headed back to Little Rock Air Force Base... Erik was a C130 Nav instructor... So he will be back at the school house! We spent 5 years at "The Rock" Jake, my oldest was born there... we left when he was almost 4... and came back to California... now he is almost 8 and we are heading back... seems like our life has gone in a circle! LOL... we sure will miss the beach and QIAD... we have only been out of the military for 2 years but we have really missed it... after spending 12 years in... that is all our family really knows... adjusting to being civilians has been so hard for us! I am happy to be going back!

Hugs!

HELP !!

Does anyone know how I can resize the blocks? My printer is printing them too small so all my paper piecing will be too small to go with pieced blocks. Will I have to take them to a copy machine??? and how much do I enlarge them????? Appliques will be too small also but I can adjust the size by making the background square the size I need it to be.

Alina, what an exciting move for your family! Will miss you in the QIAD block party videos, but thanks to the internet you can still be HERE!

I promise I will eventually do the pp bunny but I did applique so I wouldn't get too far behind! The bunny is from Grandma's Bunnies by Darcy Ashton. A quilt of 1930s repro bunnies is on my to do list.
