Well...I printed out the pattern and I think this is going to be a challenge! I hope I'm up to it! I'm going to study the pattern a while before I tackle it. I'm sure this will be fun. And when it's done I'll wonder why I was hesitant to start.

The hardest part is cutting out and taping the pattern together... the rest is easy peasy!!! But please ask for help if ANY questions arise... don't want anyone frustrated!!!

Okay - I am assuming the different letters are different fabrics? and then you put them on in number order?

Well, now that I look again, that won't work. I am sure this is much simpler than it looks. I will look again after I come home from scouts.

Valerie... the letters are grouped together first... for example:

1st sew pieces A1-A5 together as a group
2nd sew pieces B1-B5 together as a group
3rd sew pieces C1-C3 together as a group
4th D1 only has one piece

Sew group (A) to group (B) paying attention to seam allowances... they are already drawn in there...

Sew group (AB) to C

Sew group (ABC) to D

Also when sewing the pieces into a group... place your A1 piece right side up... I usually use a piece of scotch tape to hold it... the cut a piece of fabric for piece A2 put right side down onto piece A1 so pieces are right side together... flip over paper holding in place and sew on line between A1 and A2... open and press... no steam! Go onto next numbered piece...

Does that make sense? Sorry if I confused you even more... still on cough syrup!!!

Let me see if I can find a you tube video or something!!!

And use the picture as a guide for colors!

Hugs!

Okay, I think I understand. When you talk about tissue paper, are you referring to the stuff that you may wrap a sweater in before giving it as a gift?

yes that is the type of tissue paper but I usually use just regular old paper. The only time I use tissue paper is when I am doing a complex Mariners Compass where you end up with several thicknesses. With the bunny regular paper will work for you

Just finished my bunny. I'm not a paper piecer but it was pretty easy. I think I'm going to have plenty of stuff in my stash for these blocks. Yeah!
