Whew! Glad it was something simple like that! LOL! The other day there was something "wrong" with my Juki, it wouldn't feed the fabric thru and was snarling up, well I didn't raise the feed dogs after I finished some free-motion! LOL! Felt like such a dweeb, but was glad it was user-error and nothing wrong with the machine!

Sandy

NO I am never going to do that AGAIN!!! If I ever feel compelled to jump in freezing water... I think I'll just fill my bathtub with ice/water and jump in!!!

Finished my lotto blocks and started quilting... but my neck is killing me and I didn't sleep well last nite... so I'm going to sign off and go curl up on the couch for a while.

nitey nite

The same thing happened to me Lyn. I was in my Mastery class and the teacher walked over and turned it off. LOL I was sooo embarrassed, but it taught the whole class.

These log cabin blocks are so much fun to make! After the Birds in the Air it is fun to work with so many different fabrics and a much easier block! I am measuring at every turn too and using the needle one position to the right.

Mary - At age 16 I jumped into a swimming pool on January 1st. I never did it again!! It was too cold, even in California let alone Minn.

I just popped on to say hi I haven't had time to read the entire thread I was finishing up a book this morning and haven't even gotten dressed. John has been up and running early. He went to Target to pick up some items, did the grocery shopping for his Mom and now just left to take her to go visit his Dad in the hospital, he is still in ICU and has been for a week. Now that I have finished this Elizabeth George novel I will go tackle the Bear's Paw

Sandy, are you taking the QU course? I am attempting to learn how to post my project on that site in their gallery. I guess they want us to. One of my favorite things to do with my embroidery machine is to take a colored T-shirt and thread that matches and embroider a lacey design on it. Just 1 design kind of in the middle of the front of the Tshirt. I have done 2 of them so far and get so many compliments. I have a disk that I purchased from Dakota Collectibles, in fact a couple of them, called Gunold Fashion Lace. I watch at a LQS and when they go on sale I buy them. They sell for $60 and when on sale they are $19.95 and contain a lot of designs.

Mary, glad you have thawed out. It must be easier to talk now that your teeth are no longer chattering. lol One time when my husband and I were much younger we stayed at a Motel in West Bend, I think that is where it was, and they had a swimming pool that was 1/2 inside the building and the other half was outside. You swam through kind of a rubber door to get to the outside. It was winter when we did that and it was OK, but you stayed in the water and did not get out into the air. The cold air is the worst part.

Well, I will be back later. Want to go check out this satin foot that GP is talking about.

I have been tearing out my hair trying to get designs downloaded where I want them and in usable condition. I finally got some done . but I am sure there has to be a mucheasier way to do it. I woulod imagine I will learn that in the next class, but I do like to skip ahead.

Barb - no I am not taking the class QU, but after the one I am taking is done I might. Sounds like a really cute idea with the Tshirts, not sure I would have thought of that. i don't have any lacey designs but I would imagine I can find some.....

maryq - no many people can say they have done it once...be proud
