The quilt will be BEAUTIFUL! The colors are wonderful. I was relieved to see that Natalie will not really be MOVING from you! We'd all have withdrawal if we didn't get frequent photos and reports of Natalie's life!!

That's going to be beautiful, Caroline. Hoping for the best for Sara and Natalie.

I really do love your background fabric Caroline and the red is perfect! The quilt will be stunning. Tell Sara I am praying that she gets her home. Buying that first home is so exciting! Might as well be making a house pmt as paying rent. As long as we get to keep seeing pics of your little Natalie, that is. LOL She is such an Angel!

So are you doing this as applique or are you piecing it? It'll be gorgeous for sure!

Cathy,,,its applique, with Els method, and very easy, although it takes more fabric than the traditional pieced one. But Sara is buying it,so no skin of my nose! LOL! I do have a hint for anyone making it. It calls for lightweight fusible web,and I had trouble with it tearing when I turned the pieces, then the edges wouldnt roll under smoothly. I ued heavier interfacing and trimmed it away after it was appliqued. Neater and less bulky...

You do such neat, nice work so the quilt will be a beauty when it is done. The pieced way scares me to death!!!! But I am going to give it a whirl real soon. Got to face what scares me one day or another. LOL I like the method you are doing better already & I have never even tried it. LOL

Beautiful colors. I am looking forward to seeing the complete quilt. It is not easy to sew around those curves.
