I have an on going CW quilt it is all done by hand...so I take it with me on trips. we call it the camping quilt. Each block is finished and the blocks are sewn together. I use a double zig zag to sew them together. I have 150 4 inch blocks finished. A queen sized is too many blocks to anticipate. But it is good hand work for the traveler.

I got this book a few months ago. If you have a bookstore close by thumb through this book, the pictures are beautiful.

Thanks sewbug, I am going to Borders and Joann's tonight, such excitement on a saturday night. Have a gift card from joann's from christmas that is burning a hole in my wallet. Hope they have it, looks like a good book.

The Cathedral Windows book looks so wonderful. Much check it out. Quilters Haven in New Mexico has different way of doing it, can't remember the name, even tho I have it - ha. Good luck. The Catherdral window isn't hard to do, I have done samples at a class years ago.
