I live in Thackerville and didn't even know there was a quilting guild in Love County! I am still a newbie, only quilting for a couple of years and have only actually quilted lap size quilts so far. I am working on a king size top for my bed and a baby quilt for JW & LeeAnn Hart. I know most everyone in Love County know them. I hope to finish theirs up this week. Anyway, I would like some info on the guild and how to join, guidelines, etc. My sister has been my teacher, but she lives in Nocona, Tx. and it's about an hour and 1/2 round trip to go to her house. So when I get stuck on something she has to try and talk me through it over the phone. It would be nice to have someone close to help. But I don't know if y'all take newbies or not. I would certainly understand if you didn't. We can be a pain sometimes! I would appreciate someone contacting me regarding the guild with the information. Imagine my surprise at reading Quilt in a Day community forum and seeing people from Love County writing in one!

Sandy I hope you get the info. you need about the Guild. It would be great for you to visit. Love County is just chock full of fabulous people!!!!!! Some of the best in the world!
