Me hope the dr have good news.
I finished all my projects for today and laundry is almost done...I am going to start tracing some appliques and get started on a quilt for next Christmas.(Don't groan) It will take me that long to get it done it is a hard one.....Paper piecing...Applique and patchwork all in one quilt....Some of the techniques I have never done so it will be learn as you go.Going out to dinner with friends tonight so I probably won't be back...
JW hope you and your cute little boys are feeling better soon.
Everyone don't work too hard and stay warm or cool as needed......

the kids are on a sugar high...now tell me why do some of the teachers do a Valentine's, President's Birthday party in the morning? The kids are off task then the rest of the day...arg...
The kindergarten class makes sense because they have a split start time they needed to do something in the time that all 30 kids are here (15 kids in each class attend 7:50-11:10 the other half attends 9:30-1:00) but the other classes that did early celebrations are nuts.

I am looking forward to a 4 day weekend!

cindyg- I did not post a picture of it. I thought I'ld just wait now until it is done-done. Then I'll post over in photos. I have to mark it and get it to my hand quilter. I order backing so it will have to wait for it to be shipped. I was hoping to give it to her at church on Sunday.

It is another beautiful day, if this keeps up I am going to have to plant some flowers.

Dropped my apnea machine off at the doctor this morning so now I just wait to see what she says.

I gave up waiting for Brenda to get up to speed on the Singer 250 Embroidery machine and bought my own this morning except I got the 350. I have my first class tomorrow. There are a series of 5 classes and you are supposed to take one a week, but since I have a friend there I will have all my classes done by the 24th.. How cool is that!!!!

DH and I took a load of stuff from the back porch, remember when I cleaned ut the shed and loaded up the porch, to Goodwill, Making progress.

Susie - I was in MOPS when my DD was little. It was great

Joanne - Trees toppling is a huge problem in this area. There is so much rain that the root don't have go deep in the soil. When the wind is strong the trees come down pretty easy.

Quilte7 - must be fun to work with first graders

OK, I have to brag. My DH is such a keeper. After lunch, the school secretary came in and said she had something for me. Joe had sent a singing Valentine with a barbershop quartet. They are part of the Delta Kings, which is an award winning group here in Cincy. They also brought a rose and candy. So, I got 2 songs, the goodies, a lot of jealousy from the other staff and 22 5 yr olds who were really wowed.

That is really cool Rosie!

I am about 3/4 the way through my list of things to do before I am ready to go. SIGH! I thought it would go faster.

Rosie: What a guy. He is a keeper for sure. I would have loved to see the look on the kids faces. Maybe some of the boys will remember how neat that was when they get older and treat their girlfriends and/or wives to a similar experience.

Sandy, lucky you with your machine. I was at our Joannes store today and they did not have the 350 there. Only the 250. I did not talk to anybody, but I just wanted to look at it. I will wait for awhile. Maybe I can look better at the machines when we go to the show in chicago.

Tomorrow is garbage day, so I have to go change the kitty litter so my DH can take it out with the garbage.

Joanne, I didn't think I had the skills when I did my first ugly swap, infact I was sad for my partner because she was getting me.... well I had so much fun and the teasing back and forth... it doesn't matter what you make because it's from your heart.... and whatever it is will be perfect...... I really hope you join.... also nice to have you back... we knew you crossed the river but were afraid you had fallen in...lol....

Mary Ellen I love hearing from you... things must really be better... you sound great.

Carin, play a quarter for me.

Rosie, you have a super husband... hope you do something neat for him to show your appreciation....

well I am frying chicken and getting the mashed taters mashed... maybe peas???? or a mixed veggie and dinner is served....

quilt class was canceled due to snow... I don't have snow so it must be up on the mountain.??

well, gotta get dinner finished
