Good Morning Everyone!
I am working today in my favorite first grade classroom. I have been in the class many times this year and I know the children and they know me. I will enjoy the day. No sewing today though until much later. My DH has a meeting tonight so we will have leftovers and I may get to sew in the early evening.

Have a great day everyone!!

This is a MOPS day for me. For those of you not familiar with it, MOPS stands for mothers of pre-schoolers. I volunteer at our church to watch the 4-5 year olds so their moms can have a couple of hours of social time with other moms. It's a lot of fun but can be tiring too. We have it twice a month at our church. Anyway, no sewing until this afternoon for me. Hope to get a couple of quilt labels sewn on and then do the embellishment on my barn block. Some days there just aren't enough hours in the day!! Looking forward to the next online BOM which should be up Friday!
Keep stitching,
Susi

Good morning to all........ready to jump in the shower & hopefully get some sewing done the right way today. Ended up ripped out quite a bit yesterday afternoon. The log cabin blocks are still coming along, a little slower than what I wished they would. Hope you all have a good day.

OK, time for me to stop playing around. I gotta get to work on some of my stuff, but I can't seem to work for more than 5 minutes before I have to sit down. So I loaded the baby quilt onto my Q-snap frame and I'm gonna hand quilt the sucker! Just the open squares though, I'll probably go ahead and finish quilting in the ditch around the 9 patches(It's a 9 patch and stripe from Still stripping, the other one is half put together and will be for DS1) It'll give me some practice for when I do DH's Jacob's Ladder that has to be hand quilted, it's his reenactment quilt.

Joanne, I didn't think of that, maybe he DOES like me after all!

cindy, mentioned to DH that I had more designed than I could ever sew, and he walked off mumbling "I have an idea..." but won't tell me what the idea is!!! He's a dork...

grammie........I've got an appt with the ENT dr today at 3:15.......numbness is still there but most of the pain is gone (at least for now). Tomorrow morning is a neurologist appt & we'll see how that goes. Just got the work schedule and I'm down for 8.5 hrs the first day I'm back? Going to check with the dr for that & see if I can gradually work back in.

CArin - Have fun is Vegas.

ME - How are things going. So glad to "see" you up and about.

Jameswife: Hope both you and your son are feeling better. Can't those cats be pesty at times? They are just showing their love.

Joanne, so glad you are not lost.

Attended my first board meeting for our guild last night. What a great bunch of ladies with some great ideas.

This last summer I had some exploratory surgery done, so I have to go today and have a new baseline mammogram done. I guess they figure it should be all healed and want to see what it looks like. They had been checking and rechecking the left one for a couple of years now. They assured my I do not have cancer, but there were cells there with the potential to become cancerous and they removed them. Very minimal surgery.

Well, gotta go. bbl

Takin' a break from the Monkey Wrench! Had to join DH for "snack time" (that's what he calls our brunch!). Then take care of my email. Respond to my PM's...
Now I'm ready to hit the sewing room again!
Ya'll be good while I am gone!!
