Today was my birthday and I got the best present, my formerly ugly fabric made it's way back to me from Maggie, and I thought I was so clever, but I got nothing on Maggie. I will try to get my son to download the pictures later.
It was so funny, my son gets interested whenever I get these puffy packages, so he was standing there when I opened it. She was one busy gal, she made me;
tissue holder x 2,
bobbin holder and needle holder,
needle case (love those geese!)
angel pin,
scissor holder (have always wanted one of these),
bookmark,
quilters journal (with my inital on the front)
finger pin cushion,
wrist pin cushion.
As I was pulling things out my son kept saying, "And there's more??"
Now you can see why she only had threads left! She beaded and embelished several of the items, the journal is to die for, it has beaded marker and the applique on the front is gorgeous. I wish my work had been half as good as hers!
What a great birthday, I got a gift card from my fav LQS from my hubby and a bunch of quilty gifts from Maggie. Thank you so much!
