Good morning everyone. Hopefully today I will finish my quilt top. I was going to work on it yesterday but it was so nice here I ended up working outside. Right now it looks cloudy so maybe I will get it done. Have a great day everyone.

Morning, I am cleaning my sewing room and then on to trying to finish the quilt for my DGD. It has to be ready by next Sunday. I picked up the last of the material yesterday that I wanted to put in it. So will probably have it together today.
Also went to Hancock Fabrics yesterday and bought the 8 year old a Janome Mini Sewing machine. It has a straight and zigzag stitch. It was $39.99 on sale. I thought that would be perfect for her to start sewing on. I also bought her a case to put it in so that we can take it wherever we deceide to sew. She was really excited. She also wanted to buy some fabric but I told her that I have 3 large tubs of fabric that she can choose from and when we run out of that (yeah right) we would buy more.
On to cleaning and then sewing. Have a great day.

Happy Sunday! It is Scout Sunday today so we are going to the Methodist church here in town. We always have a nice service and then breakfast after.
Then I have to go to work for 4 - 6 hours. I missed being able to really get any work done last week. Three days before I was sick and missed also so I am way behind. Last week we spend packing up the office, throwing old stuff away and getting all the filing done as starting Monday our office will be emptied and then first thing Tues morning our new floor will go in. We are also getting new furniture. So although it is tough now, in the end, it will be really nice.
I may get a little sewing done in between. I really want to get my Batik quilt finished up and to the LA this month. I have some blocks to do here and there too, plus a tote to put together.

Happy Sunday..I will do some applique this morning and head to a baby shower at noon. That will take care of most of the day...Going to try to make a label for a quilt on the embroidery machine...just to see if I can....

Good Morning Gals
I'm up, with my first cup of coffee--it's nice and sunny here in MN but COLD again! ONly 12 above!!!
Today I am going to work where I used to work to fill in for another gal, so won't get a LOT of sewing done, but when I get home I'll do a few stitches while doing my laundry. Have my Paducah quilt top almost done and am anxious to finish it. Need to start new grandbaby quilt, but don't want to start a project til I finish one....I tend to have ADD and start too many projects at the same time!
This old body is sure achy this morning! Went bowling with my kids yesterday and YIKES am I stiff!! We sure had a good time and had some great laughs watching DGS bowl! He had a ball and didn't want to quit. I bowled very badly and didn't even break 100! Guess I won't be joining a league any time soon! LOL.
Hope you all have a wonderful day.... time for me to hit the shower!

Good Morning. Probably no sewing today for me but that's OK. Little Sarah is coming today. Can't believe she's almost 3 weeks old.
It's suppose to be close to 50 here today (YEA!) I'm ready for spring. Even though the groundhog said 6 more weeks of winter, the birds are out there singing away. Fine by me, I love hearing them.

Marymargaret-Do you think quilter's ADD is contagious? I have it too! hopefully I'll finish up some stuff this month so I can start more next month:)
I'm up and have coffee. Oatmeal is in the works, so I guess I'll eat breakfast this morning. Still have 8 blocks to do flippy corners on, then the rest of all the blocks to sew together, so I'm going to start working right after coffee. Too dangerous to start before:)

Good Morning All,
I had a FANTASTIC day yesterday meeting several QIAD friends & going to the Sew Expo. I will post photos on Chit Chat.
DD & GK's are still here. I love having them here, but I'm not getting some stuff done that needs done before leaving for Texas Wednesday. Add to it, my parents called Friday evening to tell us that Mom had fallen and broke a rib. They live in Fort Collins & I need to get there to see her. I still don't have the embroidery done on the jacket she gave me last week, that she wants done before I leave. Every feel like your up to your butt in Alligators and the plan had been to drain the swamp!
Has anyone heard from Kadie and any other QIAD members down under. The fires have taken many lives.

Goodmorning I was out did all my errands already now its off to the sewing room I think I will start some shower gifts for my niece's baby Im not going to make the other tossed nine patch untill I come back from Lancaster because I have to look for a few browns and don't want to buy at the Local Quilt shop out therethey have more of a virotoy well I hope everyones day is great.
