My machine is home. I had to leave work because the UPS person left it outside. I left a note saying to leave it with my neigbhor but he just put it outside their door DUH. I thought he would knock and have them sign for it. It has been snowing so I didn't want to leave her outside.

I have finished up my table and set up a nice little sewing area so soon I will get to play. YIPPPEEEE.

ME - Yes, Cathy is right, you are in our thoughts and prayers. Wish we could all share the pain with you, then it would just be a pin prick (17,770 people). We cannot unfortunately, however please know you are in our thoughts and prayers. We wish you well!

Cathy - Glad to see you! That ice and snow must be difficult. Is it warm enough to melt yet? I hope it doesn't melt too fast, but enough to get lines, trees and streets cleared.

Has anyone heard from Rosie? Did she ever find her keys?

Brenda - I think we had to go to UPS and fill out a form so that they would leave our packages on our door. You might call them and ask. They may have some sort of regulation about the hand written notes left on doors. Just a thought.

ME......what time do you go for your surgery? We are all there with you. Please have someone let us know how you are doing tomorrow evening.

Brenda......Have fun "playing" with your new baby. When you can send us a picture.

Jameswife.....It has been said that every allergy gets worse with each attack. You should ban shellfish from even being in your house. That is what restaurants are for. I know he wouldn't hurt you on purpose, but it only takes a little bit for a violent reaction. Please be safe!

Have Fun,

It is an absolutely gorgeous day. Sun is shining, 62 degrees Amazing Supposed to be like this all week.

I went to Joann to see if they had the background fabric for my barn quilt. I found the perfect sky material and it was on sale, can't beat that!!! I have a friend that works there in the Viking sewing area so I stopped to chat and see what she thought about Singer machine. She thought it was pretty good for the money and tried to convince me that the $1500 dollar machine was a lot better. Well DUH!! I would certainly hope so, but for what I want and can afford the Singer will do.

Quilter7 - I was just sitting here wondering about those keys, hope Rosie finds them

Brenda - I am on pins and needles

me - It will be worth it in the long run, just keep thinking that (((HUGS)))

grammie - I feel for ya

Brenda have fun playing with your new machine.

I have the embroidery unit going on the Bernina, stitching out #3 of the 4 blocks for DGS quilt. I'm trying to decide what other projects I want to take to work on in Texas. As I start to look I realize that I don't need any more fabric or quilt kits. I didn't think I had this much stuff. Do I take a couple UFO's & finish or start a couple new projects? :

Good afternoon everyone. I'm taking a few minutes to let you know my SIL and I made it safely to my niece's house in Murrieta. We are having a blast, LOL. Getting ready to run over to Wal-Mart to pick up some hangers. Talk to ya later.

Thank you to all for the positive comments. My surgery is scheduled for 10:00 am, it's supposed to take about 45 minutes & my SIL will call Quiltnewby05 to let her know how it went. I will ask her to post when she can tomorrow. When the pre-admissions nurse called today, I told her that I need drugs to relax me the MINUTE they start the IV & also a massage. She did say that she'll try to accommodate those wishes. The pain today was the worst ever and I am so hoping for real relief. Headed off to the couch tonight with a warm blanket to watch Idol. I'm hoping I can stay awake for the whole thing. So glad that I've found such wonderful friends here!
