Ugh. I hate mornings. Bleh. took yesterday off to work on my family tree some. Finally got my program to realize I was online so I could search for stuff.

Vicky, who designed the Shakespeare quilt again? I know people have posted it before, but my brain is soo not working today.

Got to finish deviding up some 2" strips so I can make some 4 patches, then I'm going to be making a onesie for DS2. Little guy grows so fast!

Typing mistakes, I swear I had my coffee today!

A crisp 18* in the Rocky's, with clear blue skys.
Debbie, please warm up the Texas panhandle by Feb. 11th. We will be headed for Aransas Pass then. Melt any snow, too. Thanks!

I will be adding another strip to the sides of the RV quilt today. Lesson learn on this darn quilt....If you want it to fit perfect have extra fabric on the sides that can be trimmed off after quilted. Have the RV sheets here to wash up.
Happy Stitching,
Lyn

Good morning from sunny, cold SW. Pa....We had more snow this morning but hopefully it's done for awhile...

DH is off to help with the elderly bingo and I'm going to venture out for some groceries and a hair cut....I've been getting my hair cut for 2 weeks and before I chop anymore off, I have to get it done by someone that knows what they're doing....

Hopefully, when I get back, I'll work on the birthday blocks...I finished the 2nd Steeler tote and I hope I don't get any more orders...

Enjoy the rest of the day,
Stay warm and safe....

Good morning. I did make it in to work today. It was a slow crawl but I got here safely so that is the important thing. No sewing for me until I get home. I have to go to Joann's and get a couple of small things after work. Then I get to go home and sew YIPPEEE.

Mary Ellen - it helped me to put Invisi-Grip on the back of my flying geese rulers.

Good Morning 33 degrees here supposed to get up to 44 and rain. It is clear now so I better get in gear so Max and I can get our walk in for the day.

I received the Moda fabric I ordered for the charm quilt I want to make. Have to say I am kinda disappointed, the fabric is not a pretty as I thought it would be. Maybe I will like it better when I start to put it together.

Not much exciting for me today. I am meeting a friend at 5:30 for coffe and fabric shopping.

Vicky - please post a picture of your progress on your Shakespeare in the Park quilt, then these rascals can covet your quilt. I am sure it is much nicer than mine......

Brenda - glad you made it to work safely

Lyn - I knew you would end up adding the strip

CaroleJ - good description I could just picture your little one

jameswife - sounds like you are quite the seamstress you could post pictures of clothes you make, we wouldn't mind.....

Cindyg, I have InvisiGrip on all my rulers, even my bitty 2.5 inch fussy cut and bitty flying geese rulers. Saves my sanity!

Sewing area is tidy; didn't really take too long, once I turned on the radio :-)

Fabric for blue geese is in the dryer...thanks, Carolyn! You sent some pretty colors; they'll look great in Alina's design.

I have my tools to cut out the geese laid out on the kitchen table...need to claim space early in the day, before the girls start on their projects. Otherwise, there is no room left for me and my quilty stuff! (In the new house, I will have a ROOM TO MYSELF to sew in....oh the joy! The luxury!)

Need to go set the timer to remind youngest to finish up her bath; we need to do a reading lesson before it gets too much later. I hope she's not intentionally stalling....she does love being in the tub, always has, so I'll give her a bit of a nudge in a little while.

May check in later, depending on how the day goes...

Jameswife, you'd want to hide from me if you were here...I LOVE mornings. I am usually up heating water for coffee by 0430 or 0500. I never thought I'd end up being a "super early bird", but it suits me. It would drive DH nuts, though, if I tried to get him up at that hour; he's a night owl!

Carole, I am definately a night owl. Drives my dad crazy, he's a major morning person, gets up at 5 am and everything(even on his days off!)

Sandy, here ya go! This is DS1 in some of the pants I made for him, we call them his monkey pants(you can't really tell in the picture, but the fabric has monkeys on it) I made a bunch of these type pants for him to wear while he was being potty trained and they were so easy I just keep making them. I didn't make the shirt though, but it works very well for him:)

CAroleJ-I am sure you will make those fabrics look wonderful!!! I love blues and glad you are re-washing them because I am sure there was some white cat fur on them since Miss Mouse thinks all fabric is hers :)

mequilter9158-can't wait to hear how your geese turn out Chriss and I are both afraid to tackle them. I am going to go to the big JoAnns on the way home and use coupons to get the rulers. The 2 little JoAnns yesterday were out of the larger size. Which was ok since I had friends come over and helped him with his costume for the party they are having for his 50th birthday this weekend.

uhhh the costume will be interesting and it will be fun to see the reaction people have. Both of them are MDs and his costume is a patient's hospital gown, you know the kind that ties in the back and often flops open....yup....that is his costume....I sewed a velcro waistband on a latex "bottom" which will show when he walks. It was a riot doing that last night. I haven't seen the rest of the costume for that I have to wait until Saturday.
