Sure is a pretty quilt! I love the colors. I would add the extra borders so that you will not be sorry you didn't. There are no quilt police and you sure can take a little more of your time and patience to make it just right for YOURSELF!

Lyn, it's beautiful! Love all the warm tans and blues!
About the size...let it percolate for a day or two. Then you will know better if the smaller size is really going to bug you or not. Remember if YOU are happy with it, that's all that matters!

The quilt is beautiful Lyn:-) You should do what you want to do with it and what will work for you. If a non-quilter sees it, they won't know the difference and if the "quilt police" catch you--don't send them to my house!! LOL! No, but seriously, it's your quilt, it comes down to what will make you happy.
Post some pics when you get it done! I'd like to see what you decided to do:-)

Hi Lyn, I have one of those rounded edge covers too and I hate it. It looks nice in the motorhome but will not stay on the bed. If I leave it on all night, it is usually on the floor on one side by morning.
I thought about making a quilt coverlet too but couldn't figure out how to make it fit right. Anxious to see how yours comes out. I won't be traveling for some time anyway. Will be here until SIL returns from Turkey next year. Happy Quilting. Hugs, Shirley Mae
ps I forgot to tell you, I love the quilt. Very nice. And I really like your chair covers too. Did you make those too?

I think it's very pretty. I would add another border and then the skirt.

I think it's beautiful the way it is but agree you are probably not going to be happy with it unless you add the borders to make it fit the way you want it to. Great job!!

Re: Problem with RV quilt....need suggestions
I had the same trouble with the cover on the bed in our RV - they slide very easily and ours wound up on the floor, too. I bought a quilt and matching pillow shams and put the other thing tucked back in the closet. One of these days maybe I'll make a nice quilt for the RV.
