Good evening all....I am finally home...My sis did well with her surgery thank you for all your prayers...she was rather drugged so I did not stay to visit, Dr. said she would be a lot better walking but would need a lift in her shoe due to another injury years ago that probably contributed to the hip deteriorating. Nothing got do today so tomorrow will be a busy day for me. Hope you all are doing well with the bad weather...bbl Sandy that is a great quilt.

Well, the sleet and frozen rain are falling like crazy. This is supposed to go on until 2 am, then we are to get 4-6 more inches of snow. I have a gut feeling I won't be working tomorrow.

Joanne, if I promise to drive really carefully, can I come over for hot chocolate. I know where Williamsburg is.

Sandy, I love the quilt. Gives my ideas for my girlfriend who likes sunflowers.

I hope this whole crap is over by Wed. nite or I will be completely stir crazy. I am not a homebody. Even w/ sewing. If we lose our power I may go screaming out into the snow.

Sandy.......that quilt is gorgeous!! I've just gone through my stash & found (surprise, surprise) 10 1/2 yd cuts & 2 2-yds of coordinating floral material. Can't remember what I got it for, but it's going to be a YBR lap-size quilt. I'll iron it up tonight & then tomorrow when I'm fresh, I can cut it up and start sewing away. Still need to take 3 more pills before bedtime and I'll be super loopy then. Maybe I should bring them to bed & take them there? Could be an interesting night?????????

Oh, WOW, Sandy, that is AWESOME!! I don't think I've ever seen a Tossed 9 Patch that I liked any better!! Very striking!
