Good morning Monday, January 26th

Post by suzette58 » Sun Jan 25, 2009 11:08 pm

Good morning everyone. I have finally gotten the blocks done and have started putting them togther for my first BIG quilt. I am at work now and can't wait to get home, get through dinner and get started on it. We are supposed to get our first measurable snow starting tonight into tomorrow morning. They are predicting an inch. Well, the stores will be out of bread, milk and toilet paper. Anyway, have a great day everyone.

Good morning. I am at work also. We are supposed to get 4-6 inches of snow starting late tonight so I may be at home tomorrow. Atleast I should get to sew then.

Good morning, ladies! I was up before the sun, as usual, can't seem to sleep in anymore. Stay warm! Suzette, that's how it is here, if there's even a possibility of cold weather the grocery stores sell out of milk and bread! LOL! I'm going to continue working on the little heart blocks today, been having fun with those and the quilt is coming together. Hope everyone has a nice day!

It's cold here today -2. I'm so tired of cold, I should have born in the South.
My back is bothering me pretty badly this morning. I have no van to go to the chiropractor so that will have to wait. I thought I would just use my sons car but of course he picked last night to not come home. I will call and get an appointment for tomorrow.
I doubt I'll sew today. My house is a mess, I don't know why weekends have that affect on this house!

Over all I woke up feeling whoa-be-gone and retched, so should take my tude off here and do something to get my mind off myself.

Have a nice day and to those of you up North try and stay warm.

Vicky, sorry your back is hurting! I deal with that, too, and it's no fun. Take care of yourself!

Good Morning all....going to work on sewing today...need to straighten up and get some ironing done....My BFF is coming by to visit...she is on 1 week lay off (without pay) from her job they are cutting back everywhere. So she thought she would have lunch with me and she is not a quilter but I am trying to convert her. Will work on a baby quilt...I have 2 to do now. Hope everyone has a great day...will probably bbl.
I managed to get my barn block done...no embellishments yet. I think I'm going to use farm yard buttons to do this block. I have a few but won't put them on til the quilt is finished.

Morning girls, Well the roads aren't too bad this morning, but I can't wait until tomorrow. I will probably get a snow day also. We are suppose to have 3 - 5 inches of snow. The roads weren't the best this morning and I am thinking they are not going to get any better tomorrow. So it looks like I will get to do some sewing tomorrow. WOOHOO!! Temp is not too bad. We only have 80 appointments scheduled today for service. I look for it to be busy bacuse most of the ones scheduled for tomorrow may show up today. We'll see.

Have a great day with whatever you do.

Good morning!

We had a couple of inches of snow last night, and should get some more today. I'm off school, so I don't care! I do have several errands to run today, and a cake to bake for scouts, and a turkey planned, and laundry...sheesh! Might get to feel my fabric today!

Mom6, take it easy today! I hate the cold/gloom of winter, sometimes I watch funny movies to cheer me up. Like Evan Almighty 2 or a silly kid's movie like Meet the Robinsons. My kids say I watch more kids stuff than they do.

Suzette, the only time we ran out of milk/eggs/tp here was when we had something upwards 4 ft of snow...my DH drug himself out, shoveled and drove in a blizzard to find out the delivery truck was stuck on the highway. Told him not to bother.

Stay warm, bbl
