Re: Good Monday Morning
Working today as usual. I hope to work a little more on my charity quilt tonight. I only have 4 more blocks to quilt then the binding needs to be put on. It is nice to be trying to finish off some of my unfinished projects. I keep buying more stuff but I have so much at home to work on that I am really trying to accomplish finishing up those projects. My curtains are done so now this quilt is #2 to finish.

Re: Good Monday Morning
Greetings from Sunny, cold SW. Pa...We did our Meals on Wheels thing this morning, I cooked and then DH and I delivered and to top it off, we got stuck in the snow in 1 lady's driveway. It took DH almost an hour to dig us out...When we got home and I walked into the house, and told DH, I'm not leaving this house until I have to go out on Thursday!....I have a very small house but just looking around, I'd have enough to keep me busy until a week Thursday.....
Dinner is in the oven and I'm going to get another cup of tea and hibernate in the sewing room...(I should unplug the phone)....
Enjoy the rest of the day, everyone

Carolyn - What pattern are you making with the red and blues? I have the red/white/blue mini bow ties. It sure is a pretty quilt! You will like having it for the summer!

Yea Q7! I thought I'd take a quick 5min break and pet a cat, next thing I now, I was asleep! The kids didn't even wake me, nice 2 hour unplanned nap. I took some benadryl, but I didn't expect it to knock me out. We better sew in double time to catch up!

Hi all!
Been a busy day here as well. I had quilt guild this morning and it was fun! I took a young friend with me and she seemed to enjoy it. The quilters were all wound up after being stuck in their houses for quite awhile. I'm 50 and one of the 2 very youngest members so my friend, at age 28 was quite amused by all of us, LOL! (not much modesty left by age 70+, if you get my drift - nothing is off-topic, LOL!)
Then went to the chiropractor to work on my shoulder and neck - getting much better. Then out to the Amish neck of the woods to get honey, eggs, flour, spices, etc. I love going out there. Those brave ladies had their wash on the line! Brrrrrrrr! The men have been hauling ice for storage the last few days as well.
Now home - roast in the oven. Need to whip up a few more pillowcases.
We - hope your finger is doing better by this evening! Any updates on surgeries, babies, etc yet?
HUGS! to all!
Bubbles (wishing I had one of those naps over here!)

Hi I'm back from the Lqs First I pulled from my stash all the fabrics that looked like the pattern then I went to the LQS and bought 6 yards of cotton that looks like linen 5.00 per yd I also picked up a some of the fabric in half yard cuts that I needed I think I can do the whole queen sized quilt without buying any more for the top. I will talk about the backing later...I'm out of money now. Here's what I got

By the way I found the rise and shine panel at keepsake quilting so I ordered it from there.

Hi everyone. Just got back from running errands and looking for my Wii fit that still is not in anyones inventory. Ugh.
Here I go back on my soap box. Everyone should have a Gypsy Gripper on their ruler, or a handle from Bed, Bath & Beyond. I am sure other store have it in their bathroom notions department. They also now make a Little Gripper for small rulers. These fit rulers as small as 2-1/4". These are so nice to use and make it much safer to cut with a rotary cutter.
Finally warming up a bit here. Was acutually pleasant outside today. Supposed to be more snow coming the end of the week.
