Is it too early to start the sew in

Post by kho » Tue Jan 13, 2009 3:43 pm

for Wednesday?? I will have my DGD again, as she is still recovering from the flu and an ear infection. I don't know how much sewing I'll get done. This will also "Hide" the thing I had posted here-in the wrong spot of course.LOL Too many cotton fumes I think-or to much snow. Sandy, waiting for the next round of snow.

Good Morning Sandy. Well at least you are not too late to start the Wednesday Jan. 14th sew-in.

I came home late and tired from going to the QIAD BOM party.
We had a lot of fun. As always El was a blast. It'll be fun to see the taping from today on-line here in the forum. I believe we'll be able to see the taping on Fri. Jan. 16th

I just had my sleepy tyme tea, and it is OFF to bed for me.

Before I close my eyes in bed I'll have a few prayers winging their ways to quite a few forum members.

I'll see you in the Morning again Sandy.

Good morning.
I took Tia to the dr yesterday and she had an acute ear infection. She's on antibiotic and started feeling better by last night. Which is really good because by 10 last night my throat started to feel like it was on fire. I couldn't sleep and now I feel yucky. Now I know why I felt like I did yesterday, I was coming down with "it." One thing about big families is we like to share everything even sickness.

I have running to do today. I have a chiropractor appointment this morning at 8 and a dentist appointment at 1! It might just be a good thing Tia got her license because if I'm feel like I do right now she'll have to take her younger brother and sister and herself and I'll stay home.

To make matters worse it is FREEZING outside is all of 8 this morning and I hear we are in for the deep freeze for a few days. Lovely. Who in the south will have me? I feel the need to be in the sun :-) Maybe I should go to Australia, I've always wanted to visit there.

Good morning to all. I'm on my way into work & we'll see how that goes. I'm not looking forward to a "talk" with the boss but maybe I can be arranging a quilt in my mind while I hear blah, blah, blah? Hope everyone has a good day. Vicki, hope you feel better & your daughter, too. Tul......glad to hear that you made it to the block party. I'm sure you had a good time! I'll check in later today. Sandy, stay warm & hope that you won't have too much snow.

I'm going to be working on DH's star struck quilt today. I finally got the last of the blocks together last night so now I just have to put the top together and do the Joseph's coat border. It'll help take my mind of off weaning the baby to a bottle(very painful!). But I also need to work on some clothes for both boys, so I'll have to do some of that today too.

Well, Vicky, I'm in Arkansas and they are predicting 8 degrees tomorrow night. Guess I'd better soak up this warm temp., 32, while I can. I'm in my classroom, so no sewing for me today. These part time jobs sure do interfere with sewing. It could be worse, I could still be like a lot of you and working full time.

Well we are supposed to get snow today Oh the joy and tomorrow's high will be 6 above zero. I don't know what to do with that information except cuddle under a quilt LOL. Maybe I can bring one to work.
