I am 'still' up!! Every afternoon I get so tired that I can barely keep my eyes open and have to take a nap then my eyes just won't close when it gets to be regular bed time. Yesterday was no exception, except my nap was waaay to long, so I am still up.

At least I finished my tote for the tote swap.. Yippee!!!! I'll post pics after my pal gets it.

Hey Sharon!

I thought I was the only one around!
It is nearly 8pm here Tuesday evening.
It has been a stinky hot day...39C or 102F.
We are supposed to get hotter weather toward the end of the week...low 40sC....104-107F Yay! NOT!

Our air conditioner is working overtime! We were away all day yesterday at Dr appointments and walked in the house last night and it was like walking into an oven...blechhh.

We need rain badly, but are only getting dry electrical storms....all puff and noise and wind....no rain.

Well, it's all of 27 this morning but I hear the temp is going to drop instead of raise today. And luck us more snow!

I'm moving slow this morning, I feel like I was run over my a truck. It may be from just sitting on very uncomfortable chairs last night for a few hours for Orchestra practice. I did get up and walk the halls for a while.

Today I plan on working more on geese, They should be done today.

I have to take Tia to the dr. she just isn't getting over a sore throat and last night her ear was really hurting. She agreed to go to the dr so I know she is really sick. The girl has to be half dead to go to the dr.

good morning... well the computer says it's 41 degrees now and should get into the 60's again today....

my big plan is to go to work, then come home and finish my baby quilt for the pot luck baby shower tomorrow.... just have to put on the binding.

I have macaroni salad made in the fridge and may just take that instead of my roll up things... maybe I will go sew now before work....

Well, I think we are somewhere between momofsixquilts'''' and kadie''''s weather, cold! I remember as a kid in Chicago when it would hit upwards 100F, that seems so unreal now! I think they are calling for highs in the 40''''s.

Home again, my ornery kiddo is still sick, didn''''t keep down dinner. Not that I''''m complaining, I get to sew again!

Chriss...mac salad is so yummy! I want to go to your potluck too....

Morning all Didn't sleep worth squat last night, waiting for a call from my DS or DDIL about the DGD, I hope she is better today. My son's hours have been cut at work and my dil is at the hosp with the baby so they are having a very hard time. Today I'm gonna pay their electric bill and try to help out as I can. I must get that baby quilt done for the shower so I will be back later i hope....Temps are going down into the single numbers today with below zero tonight....that is darn cold. Miss Kadie could we trade a little hot for a little cold and even things out a little?
HMMMMMM Macaroni salad is one of my favorites.

Good morning! Our temp is at 38* and it will get up into the 50's today. I'm not complaining because the sun is out and I'd rather have cold with sun than cold and dreary.

As usual, I'm at work. Today is W-2 day for me. I'll be glad to get that monkey off my back. Last night I finished hand sewing the binding on my "Desert Beauty" quilt. I forgot to make a label so maybe I'll do that tonight if I'm not too tired. I have to go grocery shopping after work and then go home and fix dinner.

Kadie, I'll take this cool weather over your scorchers any day. I hate being hot - you can only take off so much before it becomes obnoxious!

Momof6 - I hope your Tia is feeling better soon. Maybe you can find time today to soak in a hot tub.

Marilynsgrammy - you just made me hungry talking about macaroni saled. Yum-yum.

Mommyquilts - I hope your kiddo is better soon, too. That stomach bug has been going around the schools down here and, of course, it's passed to the adults. Luckily I haven't caught it (yet).

Grammiequilts - stay bundled up. That is awfully cold. Sorry you didn't sleep better. I hate nights like that.

Morning to all. Another freezing, blustery day in the great white north. UGH! At least I don't have to go out at all, unless I get a phone call from the doctor. Hoping to get a little "straightening" out done in the sewing room........I'll see how that goes. Hope everyone has a good day. Those of you in the northern part of the country, please dress warm......wind chills are -17 here right now & could get worse over the rest of the week.

it is already 74 here and is going to get up to 86!!!

I have an early morning meeting so I can't keep on this forum much longer or my excuse will be "I was getting my early morning cotton fix" man the Feathered Geese Quilt is amazing! Have you seen it?
