I made 16 donation blocks today and got a donation quilt half quilted. I am stopping early, I feel like I'm getting a virus so rest is in order now.

Have a great weekend

Good evening all... got my blocks done for GP's and Kittyquilt's adventures... they will go in the mail tomorrow... I have my SP's address and am thrilled.

Me, I didn't know GP was collecting woodpeckers.... I have a few around here that could use a vacation....

Sandy, bald eagles are amazing birds... so majestic and strong.... we have them around here and every once in a while I will see one... but not too often.

tomorrow after the post office I am going to start a baby quilt... I have some squares and rectangles that I need to fussy cut and some other fabric that I want to make small pinwheels to go around the fussy cut squares... the hard part for me is figuring out the measurements..... if anyone knows of a good book with a pattern that has different size blocks that make a quilt let me know, I could use the practice.

have a super night,
Chriss

I also finished GP and Kityquilts Angel Projects today. I also trimmed quite a few Birds in the Air. I cut out the charms for a tote I need to finish in the next several days. It really needs to be mailed!

Chriss - Did you start walking? I am going to need to do step after dinner. I did not get out today. A 30 minute workout on step is fine though. It is really a great workout.

Well, I was a good wife and went to the party. They had just laid a new floor in the kitchen and I must have been allergic to the adhesive. I sat for almost 3 hrs. with a box of Puffs in lap sneezing and blowing. DH finally figured out maybe we should leave.
Am watch Penn State lose, darn. Will probably watch most of the UC game. Although I am not a lover of the school at all, I do live here.

KHO, sorry you missed the eagle. The school where I work is in the middle of town and we had a hawk resting on the fence outside the class window one day. He must have been cold, because his breast feathers were all fluffed out. Had to explain to the teacher that he wasn't fat. DUH

Have to get up early tomorrow to call the city to schedule the inspection for our new furnace. You can only call to schedule between 8 and 9:30 in the mornings. When are people who work somewhere with a no personal call policy supposed to do.

Will hit the LQS that is closing tomorrow afternoon. If we schedule it right, I may get to meet Vivian from the forum.

Game is on, so I'm off.

Chriss............I think she's going to kick my butt when she reads about me sending her the woodpecker. Seems that that type of bird doesn't get along real well with her dh, but we could see if time has changed that, huh? The one that "wakes" me up is a very large one, I think it's an apeliated (sp) with a bright red head, looks kind of prehistoric.

I've got my "angel" projects all done & ready to be mailed out tomorrow on my lunch hour. At least it feels like I've accomplished something today!

Good eveing everyone!!

After dinner, DH, DD#3 and I played a game of bowling on our Wii and had a great time together. Now that the game is finished I need to finish quilting my Valentine Wall hanging which is just about done. I will cut out the binding and do that sometime tomorrow. I also have a rag quilt cut out and ready to stitch the blocks together so that will be a tomorrow project also.

Hope every one is having a great evening.

Ann

hey there,

q7, I only got a 15 minute walk in.. I used my "walk away the pounds" dvd... would have done more but have a 5 year old who isn't interested.... and besides that I need to ease into it...

Me, we have the red headed ones too... I didn't know about GP's husband and woodpeckers, but what a great "stash raid distraction".... hmmmm, maybe we have a new weapon??? the woodpeckers here don't stop at anything, they even try to put holes in the house... ugh..... we won't let her kick your butt....

I am wondering how Judi ( grammie's) fart went? I sure hope she had fun...

I will check in later

It is bed time for me...I am tired from my cotton sniffing trip....I have been going through patterns looking for a pattern I know I bought and cannot find(like you've never done that before) I have thrown away a ton of junk in the process(why did I keep a reciept for toilet paper?, was I going to return it if it didn't work? ) who knows....I also found a couple of patterns I didn't remember buying??????????????? so I have already completed one of my new years resolutions and (don't throw stuff...not nice) so I think I will call it a night....Love to all XXXOOO
