xmas projects!

Post by quiltnewby05 » Sat Dec 27, 2008 3:26 am

Here is what I completed just in time!!

I didn't really get a good picture of the xmas tree skirt, but you can kind of see it here:

Here is the quilt I made, to match colors in print above couch:

My son is almost 6'5", so I had to take a picture showing the quilt was long enough!! His kitty is sleeping on the first quilt I ever made, about 3 years ago:

It was a happy xmas-- though a little messy with a lot of snow!!

Hope your holidays went well!

Looks like both the son and kitty are enjoying your quilts!!! LOL
The bargello quilt really pulled out the colors in the painting perfectly! Well done on the fabric choices and the workmanship!
Your tree skirt is an eye-catcher also! Two wonderful projects that are COMPLETED!!!

Wow a Bargello!! You organized the colors perfectly. I so want to do one of those but am afraid I'll get lost in the the middle. I'm going to try a "quarter trip" of El's on New Years day and I think it is kind of the same, just with more movement of the strips. I've watched videos and some day...................

Yours is gorgeous!
Have Fun,
