Re: kid quilt
my favorite cousin had a baby boy who is 16 months old now.... when she was pregnant I told her I needed to make her a baby quilt... she said.... we live in Arizona and don't really need quilts.... but when Zane was born she asked me where her quilt was... Zane and I had a lot of fun this Christmas...
This year the funds were really tight... with the exception of a couple of pairs of jammies and kid things we made the gifts... my DH made the sunflowers to stick in the garden...he had dons of scrap wood out there
I sure hope everyones Christmas was as wonderful as mine.

Re: kid quilt
How fun for the baby as it grows and looks at all those scenes. Kind of like a "I Spy" quilt but with pictures.
What fabric/print did you use for the sashing?
