I am wanting to make a family tree quilt. I want to use family photos on the quilt, does anyone know of any place that can print scanned photos on cotton fabric that I select?
Thanks!
Hope everyone had a GREAT Christmas.

If you press your own fabric on freezer paper and trim to 81/2 by 11, it will go through your printer. I've done it for labels, etc.

Like Rosie said, if you (or anyone you know) own an inkjet printer you can do it yourself. Here's a couple of links that may help:
http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/acHo ... c=en&cc=us
http://www.cjenkinscompany.com/Frequent ... s_s/25.htm
And, here's a place that will print anything you want on fabric for you - your own patterns, photos, drawings, etc etc:

Re: Photos to Fabric
I made a quilt in 2004 using the product Printed Treasures. It had a picture of my grandparents in the middle of the quilt. Right below that one was a picture of the old house where 8 of their 10 kids were born including my mother. Surrounding them were my aunts and uncles who were deceased. And surrounding this was a pic of anyone in the family who has passed away. This included nieces, nephews, cousins, etc. We raffled it off at the family reunion we had in September that year. I set this quilt together in different shades of purple that I got at a LQS. Needless to say it was a huge success. I started this quilt in June and had it finished in September.
I would stick with Printed Treasures simply because it is easy to work with and you can wash it and it doesn't fade or fall apart. It is a lilttle expensive but it is well worth it.
Hope this helps.

You can buy it a LQS or online at www.printedtreasures.com. It cost $17.99 for a package of 5 sheets. I would check with all the quilt shops. there are I think 3 different kinds of it.....one for sewing into projects, one for iron ons, and one other one. Can't remember.
