I like your little bags. I was thinking about doing something like that for my 3 grandchildren. I like your idea to use a different fabrics by the drawstring. Very cute.

Those bags are precious and I did kind of individual things like that for my family. I have been really ill and am on tons of meds but I hate not doing anything so I just decided to do everybody a magic pillowcase to put their presents in and also bought them all a new pillow to go in the pillowcase. I am guilty of not replacing pillows frequently enough and thought that would be a good idea for each of them. The pillowcases are individualized like the bags you have done. It is so much fun to search in your stash for fabric that suits each person. We must have had the same type of thing in mind.

I would like to make each of them a pillow case next year for Christmas. It would be something I could do and it is nice when you can make them individual by changing the fabric. What pattern did you use?

I used that pattern that I call the magic pillow case. You can see it on the video on you tube. The pillow case demo is in the middle of this video:

You can use any size that you want with this technique which is so much fun. You don't have to put the decorative band unless you have a 2 inch coordinating piece of fabric that you want to use. I did do that on mine. Hope this helps.
