Re: Secret Santa REVEAL DAY
Thanks to my SS, Carolyn in NC, she didn't tell me her forum name. She gave me a pair of fuzzy socks, a note pad, an I Spy FQ, some cookie cutters, Udder cream, a tape measure and my box was minty fresh smelling with some chocolate mints in there. Thanks so much, my feet are nice and snuggly warm now.

If you live 509 miles south of Tulsa, OK, I hope you got your package today. It was mailed on Dec. 5 (late, I know) -- priority mail, so it should have been there by the 8th (or 9th since there was a Sunday in there). But... delivery confirmation said it was processed and left the Tulsa facility on Dec. 8, and when I checked again yesterday -- and today! -- it said it was processed and left the Tulsa facility on Dec. 10. Grrrrrrrrr. (I mailed other packages on Dec. 9 and they arrived today (Dec. 11). This is very frustrating.
Sooooooo, to my dear quilty friend who is waiting for a Secret Santa package: I'm sorry it hasn't gotten there yet.
If it will help to cheer you up any... there is something purple in it.

Re: Secret Santa REVEAL DAY
The first words out of my mouth as I saw what was in my Secret Santa package were, 'Oh how beautiful!' When I opened my box, instead of seeing Christmas-y wrapping, there was bright blue (that pretty teal/turquoise kind of color) tissue paper, and underneath that was a lovely charm tote bag for Christmas/winter with fabrics in the same blue, and greens and reds with snowmen and Christmas trees and geometric designs. The pockets had some other goodies for me -- needles, pins, a teeny tape measure, a handy measuring gadget for seams, some elastic, a cute little pincushion, a little blue container I can use for sewing gadgets, and a mesh bag stuffed with 2 big bags of M&Ms.

The picture includes the quilting journal and Thanksgiving potholder my SS sent earlier.
I feel kind of like a pirate who found a buried treasure! I love the fun of surprises! You never know what to expect. You can guess what might be in a package because of its shape, but you never really know until you open it.
My SS was very sneaky. She sent a smaller package at Thanksgiving from Washington, but the bigger package was mailed from Montana. And then she didn't put anything in the box with the tote to tell me who it came from! When I finally got on tonight to thank 'Someone' for my gift, I saw that I had a PM. It was from Susi (csusio) in Washington, letting me know that she was my Secret Santa. She mailed the box while she was out of state for Thanksgiving.
Thank you, Susi, for the wonderful charm tote and goodies!!! If someone asks me where I got my tote, I can say, 'a friend made it for me.' (And I still have to decide whether I'll share the M&Ms or just hide them in my sewing room.) Thank you for being my Secret Santa 'someone' this year.

donnacrazylady - are you my Secret Santa????? I love purple and I'm south of Tulsa and I'm waiting on my SS gift. I really don't mind that my gift is a little late because as soon as I get it I can open it and not have to wait a second!

littlebit: You are a wonderful Secret Santa!!! I completely forgot about Reveal Day yesterday...
Your package has been sitting in my dining area since it arrived last week, and I left it out in the open because if I moved it elsewhere I would not have been able to wait.
Thank you so much for the Teapot Table Runner -- just love it!! And for the "early" SS surprises you had sent as well. Well I felt like a kid at Christmas opening each wrapped goodie--the Keepsake Needle folder, chocolate bar & Reeses goody, wrist pincushion, the pretty fabrics, snippers, lotion, bookcover patterns, Quilter's 4 notions packet...and even A Christmas Cookies & Candies book. The recipes look good--can't wait to try them out. The Hazelnut Expresso cookies
and Mixed Nut Brittle are at the top of my list.
Sorry I forgot to do this yesterday. I was exhausted after a very trying experience, and quite upset. So as it turns out, in more than one way your delightful surprises brought some sunshine into my life.
Thanks so much, and Merry Christmas.
Hugs,
Carol
