Re: HAPPY DECEMBER 1ST TO ALL
Morning, ladies! After spending 6 hours on the road Saturday driving my brother-in-law back to Silverthorne (note to self: if he wants to get home after Thanksgiving next year he can get his own self up there!), started on getting my studio reorganized with some wire cubes and baskets and it's looking great! Sunday watched the Broncos trounce the Jets while we put together our tree and hauled up decorations from below the house (it snowed all day and made it perfect for thinking Christmas!). Never did get back to my organizing. Back to work today, off interview clothes shopping tonight (my current job ends Jan 31st - job hunting after 19 years!) and maybe do some more decorating tonight. Whew! Guess we could all use a break and we just had a 4 day weekend LOL

Good Morning Ladies -- WOOO-HOOO Chriss, 24 days....that is GREAT!! All you ladies who got snow last night -- lucky you guys!! We should have snow, but we have sun shine and high 50's...there was a little ice on the troughs this morning, but no snow and none in the forecast...sad dance!!
Yesterday was a bust for me!!! Planned installing my embroidery software in my new computer -- and, ahhh, it seems I must have thrown the disc away....a $500 program right down the drain!! I completly tore my sewing studio apart and searched through everything not once, not twice, but at least THREE times and no such luck!! I gave my sister a smaller version of this program, that she could not use, so she is sending that back to me. With all of the new technology in sewing machines the last couple of years, I'm having a hard time finding this old program online, so I don't know what I'm going to do. I know I probably will not ever purchase another computerized sewing machine --- bad enough one has to upgrade computers every 4 or 5 years, but upgrade sewing machines too -- NOT in my life!! Ok, on a postive note -- my sewing studio is pretty well cleaned up now and found a few other things I had misplaced or forgotten about.
Ya'll have a great day, happy trails, jacquie

Taking a break! Had lunch with DH - more pickleloaf! I'm so creative!! LOL
jacquie2 - this might be a dumb suggestion, but have you looked in your computor stuff for that disc?? Maybe you stored it with the computor and not in your sewing stuff...
I've been tring to pick fabrics for my baby buds...if I don't get my sewing/fabric/scraps organized I might shoot myself! LOL! It is a MESS. I save everything and that is the problem...it's impossible for me to throw away ANY scrap of fabric!
Oh well...later (sigh)
I'd rather sew!

Good afternoon from chilly, windy SW Pa...This morning I made stuffed shells for over at Meals on Wheels and then DH and I delivered 25 meals...We really, really enjoy doing this but it sure is tiring...Tonight, I have a Christmas party and in between, I'm resting....
Enjoy your day, everyone!

Re: HAPPY DECEMBER 1ST TO ALL
Good afternoon everyone,
I spent the weekend in Kansas City watching the sweet grandbabies. I had such fun, but boy I'm tired today. LOL I'm glad all mine are raised. I have been catching up on here. Just sent dh off to work after a 2 week vacation. I enjoyed having him home, but I'm glad to get back into a routine. Now I am going to get back to working on my Christmas gifts. Wow, the first of December already!
I hope it is ok. I thought I'd share a picture of our grandbabies that I watched this weekend.
This is Izabella and Noah.

*Hi* every one.
Chriss....WAY coooool on your 24 days. you GO girl.
I am blessed with not having to go ANY where. Be it school or work.
Just have to run some errands, sewing/quilting and all those things that makes one 'ugly' (cleaning never ends, so uglier we get LOL)
DEE, thanks for reminding us. 24 days? Somehoe I Love the first day of the last onth of the year. New years inspire us to have a better life, better healthy choices, and an inspiration of a better year coming up.
Suzette, are you like Ann, that Loves doing bindings by hand?
I get to go to my vision care provider next month, maybe that'll help and improve things to be able to thread a needle again and see stitches. And of course have that eye hand co-ordination would help too. LOL
Winona, your grand babies are prescious.
Ann, Thank you for your e-mail with that beautiful view from your window. SNOW looks so fresh.
<groan> CindyG, lol stop sounding so Ambitious, you make me look like a whimp. *hugs*
Debbie, I Love the LK pattern. They make great Chrismas pressents.
Joanne, WoW you are making the most of your retirement aren't you?
I am making tooth fairy pillows today for my local dentist who is feeling the slowing down of business with the economy. He still had a giant plate of Haloween candy out. He shared with me the pain of this economy, lol and I told him "Take away the candy and I'll make you tooth fairy pillows for your young patients".
LOL, you think I should include a label 'Made with frabic from QIAD.com'?
