Joanne - I will add my congratulations on finishing your quilt and also add to the request to post a picture. I love seeing everyone's quilts!!

Grammie - What a nice idea for a quilt for your DH. How in the world are you keeping those pieces of fabric hidden from your DH? My DH is too nosy. He would be in my sewing room and discover I had cut up his shirts!

Jacquie - Your story is funny as long as you are okay. Hope you are not too sore!

I finished laundry, grocery shopping and cleaned house. I have been deciding on a quilt design today for Double Irish Chain. I need to draw it out nice and neat and practice free motion.

Hi y'all. I've been away from the forum for a few days. Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. I'm almost finished putting up my Christmas stuff. My friends came over last night for our annual 'fix the mantle for Christmas' night. They helped some with the tree too. I've been adding more to the tree today and setting out the other Christmas decorations. I have been so addicted to those dang jigsaw puzzles (someone here on the forum posted the site) that I haven't quilted at all for two weeks. And I do a little work, then work a jigsaw puzzle, work, puzzle, work, puzzle. Eventually I will get thru putting out Christmas - LOL. I also haven't gotten around to doing all the laundry - laundry, puzzles, laundry, puzzles.....

Hey Cindy........nice to see you back here!! When you're done with your decorating, I sure could use some help. We did manage to put up the new tree today & it's so nice not to have to fight with the lights. That was always the worst part of a real tree. Maybe I'll buy a pine scented candle to get the fresh tree smell.

Home we are cold and tired but had a good time at the parade and at the lights. Looks like we will be doing the trees tomarrow.

*Smile*

*FluFF*s all around for the one's going to bed.

Tomorrow I am getting my lap-top back from my son Bjorn who repaired it for me. We all are getting together to go to church, then...go to my oldest son Sandor afterwards to play a board game (Risk) together. Will be a long but happy day.

We leave around 8 AM prolly and will be fighting Holiday traffic both ways.

SO neat to start going to church with our children and Jeff's lifelong friend. Someone, ANYone.......please if you feel SO inclined, give me a wake UP call to get UP and OUT of bed by 7AM west coast time LOL. Jeff will answer, not I, he will give me that 'eyes can kill' stare to ME if I would wake him up for this, but is pleasantly nice and polite to ANY one on the phone......<grin>.

I'll make sure ALL the phones are next to our bed.
LOL Thanks for the support.
