Very cold here this morning, was suppose to get snow, it must have went elsewhere. Just got cold & wind instead, oh fun! Hubby always says, when it's this cold, it should be snowing, & I agree! Just glad to be able to stay home & out of the cold, for the most part. Still waking up, so not sure what I am doing today.

Hi Chriss and Everyone - Very cold here today too. We had snow flurries last night as there is a little white stuff floating around this morning.

I am at work today and want to be home sewing. I finally finished my YBR quilt top. I needed a piece for the backing and really didn't want to spend any more money. So I went downstairs in my stash and sure enough I found a piece to use - I just had to piece it a little bit. I was so happy. So the quilt is now pin-basted, waiting for me to start machine quilting it. And here I am at work. My LA is downstairs piled high with stuff from moving and not set up to use yet. I think that is one of my next projects.

My kids, DS-23, DS-21 and DD-17, have been in Mexico for a week with my in-laws. My in-laws took their whole family to Mexico for their 50th wedding anniversary. (They are my "ex" in-laws even though they will always be my "in-laws" if you know what I mean.) They are finally flying home today. Even though only my DD lives with me, I miss them all and can't wait until they are back here.

Good Morning Ladies! WTG Chriss!!! Happy Dance for Chriss!!!!

I've already been busy this morning -- binding is ready to be sewn on a practice piece....about the size of a large placemat. I plan on hand sewing the binding on a quilt I've been working on, and I think I need some practice before working on the real thing!

Finished sewing in the quilt threads on a thread catcher I'm working on. Just need to finish up the pin cushion part, hopefully this afternoon, and it will be done. This is for my DSL for Christmas.

Also have a riding lesson this morning -- brrr, its cold out there -- 27 degrees! Should be able to get back to the sewing room around 1 pm...Christmas is fast approaching! Ya'll have a great day, happy trails, jac

I must sew today. Had to work yesterday, so just came home and slept! Old age, I guess.
I have to catch up on all the things I wanted to do last evening and got zilch done.
Have some "deadline project" to get done, do hoping to finish some today. Then, maybe, just maybe, I'll get some "housework" done, oh, my, that term just shudders me. I never was a good houseworker. And when the sewing machine calls as loudly as it is now, well, what's a quilter to do!!!!! HUGS everyone and have a great sewing day. carol/kittyquilt

Morning ladies! My whole day is messed up cause its parent teacher conferances so the kids only go to school for a couple hours, talk about messing with my schedule. LOL!

Goodafternoon everyone it's a bit chilly so Im going to stay in the rest of the day do some wash and some sewing have a great rest of the afternoon and those of you with the cold weather stay worm.
