The pictures of Mt. Shasta and the ocean (and Mary and Sunbonnet Sue) are beautiful! I wonder where she will visit next?

Well, Guess who arrived here??? Sue just wants to see all of California since its sooooooo big. She also told me she loves babies and ice cream so we are going to see what we can do about that over the weekend. Then she will be on her way again. I think she wants to go east now so who knows where she will end up.

Checkers thank you for the fat quarter that was nice of you to send it to me.

Sue has come to visit the Texas Panhandle! She helped me work on my daughter's quilt and tomorrow we will try and find something to see here.

I hope Beth will get to post some pictures of her adventures with Sue in Central California. I'm looking forward to hearing about her adventures with Debbie in Texas, too.

Sue and I got to do many fun things once I got over the flu.. None of them were really touristy stuff but things I did during the week. She first went to quilt guild with me but I had to leave before I could get the picture taken, then she attended an international mystery class at my LQS which was fun because the ladies all got into having her there and talking to her and everything but alas the girl that took our picture didn't check to see if anything had happened and when I got home there was nothing there but I took an alternate picture for that... the thing that excited her the most there is the shop owner had just got some pins made and she gave one to Sue... the first recepient so she is now proudly wearing that.... more details to come tomorrow.
****BOO HOOO***** all of a sudden my printer/scanner wont work

Added in Sunnbonnet sue came with me to my pysciatric appt for weight loss and then went with us for my very last trip to Fentons Ice Cream parlor in Oakland, CA . They are famous for their sandwiches and most especially for their HUGE servings of ice cream.
For the long weekend we went up to Woodland to stay with the new grandbaby which Sue just loved . After that Sue got to see the quilt piece of the quilt were making in class last weekend and she was flabergasted over my new Janome 6600 machine that I got for christmas
If I get my printer/scanner to work I will send pictures asap.

Sue got very bored at my house, I had to work 12 hour days for the first three days, then a "regular" day on Thursday. There is not much to see or do in Borger, Texas so I took her to Amarillo when I picked up a sewing machine that I had serviced. She will be on her way to her next stop on Friday.

Here is Sue helping make my daughter's quilt.
