Valentines Sampler Swap Pulled/Canceled

I did find the directions after googling last nite! If I'm looking at this right the strips would be 1 & 1/2 inches wide and however long they need to be right?

for this swap the block needs to be 12" right?

Now for the "slanted hearts" any idea where the directions are for that? And do I need to make 10 individual ones or 10 "pairs"

I excited to start, but think I better get a LOT of my other projects done first!!! Yikes, Christmas is only a little more than 2 months away!!! Maybe I'll take a vacation day from work and stay home and SEW!!!

Marymargaret,

The court house steps has to be 12 1/2 un-finished and 12 finished.
As for the slanted hearts you have to make 10 individual ones, Itchn2Bstitchn will be making the others. Maybe she has a pattern. Jan have you found a pattern for the slanted hearts yet? Could you pass it on to Mary?

Since this was originally a DJ swap we should verify if this was a Quilting Around the Word forum swap and get Glenda's permission to do it.

I have never been a part of Quilting Around the World, I never heard of it before these posts.

I am a member of the Garden Web forum with the name of vicky4x4.

I did try to contact DJ and I asked her if I could use this picture as stated here.She did not respond. Unknowing of course it was in fact YOUR pattern. If you would prefer I will pull this swap. Please let me know as soon as you can as I have people signed up.

This was one DJ posted in I think August as a "teaser" I am glad Glenda gave us permission but in the light of knowing it was stolen I don't really know how I feel despite the permission. Maybe we could see if Glenda has another design that she will share with us that we could use to Heal Hearts.

Not only it is ok with me, I can help the hostess with the patterns needed. I can put them in PDF file so she can email them to the right swapper.

Don't let 'you know who' keep you from making a really cute quilt! I tried to find a picture of mine but can't. hmmm I am pretty sure I made this quilt. LOL I've made sooo many.
