Pink baby quilt finished.

I finished the binding on the pink baby quilt this morning. Now all I have to do is wash it and it is done.

My backing fabric wasn't quite wide enough so I put a strip of the daisy fabric down one side. I had never done this before, but I really like how it turned out. So I will probably do this again.

I had a lot of fun hand quilting this. It took me exactly one month from the cutting to the binding. Of course, I worked on other projects during this time as well. LOL

I really like the strip on the backing, too! Pretty quilt and the hand quilting is so nice! I love that yellow border quilting pattern - I've used it alot--makes it kind of "flow".

It is lovely. Just shows that simple patterns do a good job of showing off the fabric.
