I finally posted my pictures of the pin cushions and needle books. It took me awhile because I had to wash them, since they were done in flannel with raw edges I wanted them to fray.

I think the rest of the evening will be a quiet one, DH and I are planning on watching a movie together.

Hope everyone had a great weekend and that the coming week will be a great one also.

Hi all,

I am trying to catch up... I see Maw and GP are up to it again....

Mary, if you need to move some of that stash I can take the bottom two rows off your hands...lol....

Iowa... great job on the bowling score.... and I agree, it would be nice to get the cotton out of the totes.... I just went through 6 totes to find Christmas.

ME I keep reading about this apple crisp.... is the recipe in the recipe section? sounds good with vanilla ice cream.

DH made stew for dinner and there is barely enough left for my lunch tomorrow.

just got home from my quilting class that I took with Buttercup. We both completed the portion of the project that we were supposed to and I love it!! I will have to take a photo of it. Wish I could go to the retreat in Julian :( that would be so fun!

and my new little machine worked great I am happy with it but will be happier when I save to buy my Babylock

Chriss........yes, that's the one. It was wonderful.....especially with vanilla bean ice cream & caramel sauce. I am usually a chocolate person, but if it's warm apple anything, that's just right for me. I could just curl up right now & fall asleep, but then nothing gets done, does it?

Mary, my goodness, you've gone and done it now, for sure....those hooligans are going to be after your cotton like they are mine! LOL!

I just read everyone's posts to catch up and DUH, I've already forgotten half of what I read! LOL! DH got the door up in my sewing room for Daisy and I, brought in and set up another bookcase for fabric, set up tables in the sewing room and got my TV hooked up and did all sorts of things to help me! I am on top of the world having so much help with this stuff! Then he went and cooked dinner (a garden salad and chili and rice) and did a few loads of laundry! I thought he was just being nice because I've had that nasty headache, but I think it may have something to do with him calling his entire family and inviting them for Thanksgiving dinner at our house! ROFLOL! Just kidding, the more the merrier! I've got a sweet potato pie in the fridge and as soon as I recoup from eating so much dinner I'm going to hit it like crazy! I love sweet potato pie!

Pam, sounds like you're having a good day. Sure hope that nasty headache will go away. It's so nice that you're getting the house all ready for our road trip, that's so sweet of you!! You never know when we'll surprise you, huh? (Maybe I'll do a roadtrip over to MaryQ's for practice.......it is a little closer!!)

ME, spoken like a true pygmie- yankee! LOL! Hey, did you get a lot done in your basement today? I goofed off yesterday and didn't get anything done, but today I made up for it. I've got a deadline, you know, a bunch of hooligans are heading to my house! LOL!

Pam.....didn't get as much done as I would've like to, but did make some progress. At least we got the yard decorated for Halloween & cleaned it up a little. I was in my "Betty Crocker" mode this afternoon & spent time in the kitchen. No, I don't wear a dress with heels & pearls while I'm cooking. lol We'll have leftovers for supper tomorrow, so I can kick some butt once I get home from work, yuck.
