I didn't sew any additional sashings this weekend, but I did get 5 rows sewn together on the music quilt. That puts me 1/3 of the way to having a complete top.

Thank you LadyRags for this wonderful thread! I'm not sure if I can be dedicated everyday to sewing one needles worth of thread, but every morning I start off with good intentions. Tonight, however I was able to finish a small project I started a number of months, one of those mini-magnents from El's store. All that was needed was one needles worth of thread to finish the binding, and viola, it was done!
I didn't finish the project I have been working on throughout the day, but it sure felt good to get something completed!

I hope you have a wonderful evening and Happy trails, jacquie!

I got Howard's top finished and pressed, the binding made and pressed, and I am washing the backing as I type.

I took a picture of the music quilt thus far:

I'm 1/3 of the way through -- 9 more rows to go. I got my inspiration from this link on the forum:http://www.quiltinaday.com/community/to ... 2630#12630

Wow! That's great news Debbie.

My quilt is still in the same state it was earlier in the week. My stuff from last weekend's retreat is still sitting on the ironing board, so I've been sewing blocks together for another quilt. I've got 4 rows done, but I've got to find the top of the ironing board before I can sew any more.

I got the last stitch of Howard's quilt done. It is the Mystery Sew Along Sampler that is in the BOM thread. I added some blocks to make it a twin size. I can mail it Monday and it will reach him in plenty of time for his retirement.

Debbie

PS I will post a picture in the picture section.
