I just found this thread what a great attitude...sew a little and son it will be done.. I think this is great it makes a task fun and dot a chore..I have bindings to hand sew i will try this with them since I dislike the hand sewing

I've started the sashing for my husband's music theme quilt. Since there are 300+ pieces of sashing, I'm doing the 10-15 at a time, one corner at a time. I've got the first 48 which only have the snowball corners on one side finished, and I think I've got 10 of the regular pieced ones done. I'll keep plugging away as I work on various projects this weekend and perhaps I'll have enough of them done to start putting the quilt top together at my retreat next weekend.

Making a Christmas Tree Skirts using EB's flying geese pattern from Bear Paw Ranch. I am having fun going through my stash of Christmas fabric to make each flying geese in a different fabric. The extra geese will go to other projects and quilts.
I love this method of making flying geese.

I'm back from Oklahoma. I got the blocks laid out last night, and today I hope to start sewing them together.

Pieced another 50 sashings this weekend, so I'm 11 shy of being 1/3 of the way done with the sashings. I also was able to get 1/2 of a quilt top sewn together. 5 of my friends and I are making a quilt for anothr of our friends and we've all pieced blocks. Most of us are going to a quilt retreat this weekend, so we'll finish the top there.

Last night I was able to work on my Pink Lemonade. I finished up and pressed my four-patches, sliver trimmed my focus blocks, and pinned together the squares to start making the flying geese.

I haven't posted like I should have, but I have a queen size yellow and blue quilt top finished, the binding done, and I have the fabric ready for the backing. I hope to make the backing tomorrow before work so I can start pinning it after work.

50 more sashings done, so there's 162 more to go. Last night instead of sewing sashings, I worked on the block layout, and have them stacked and pinned in order. Today, just because, I sewed the 1st row together. I think this weekend, I'll sew some sashings, and then sew a row swapping off so I see progress.

Update Monday:
I finished the binding this morning before work. I am putting together a Mystery Quilt for a friend's retirement.
UPDATE Sunday:
I have the quilting all done and the binding on waiting to be stitched down.
I have the queen size half quilted!!! I am excited. I am hoping to finish it by Thanksgiving.
